Thank you so much for actually holding a Griptillian and Redoubt side by side. I think you are the ONLY creator to have done so so far.

Put a set of AWT aluminum scales on that knife asap. I promise you wont regret it. They make the redoubt feel like a true top tier knife. Totally changes the feel and action

Being a gun guy,.I'm not supposed to like Benchmade,..but they are def my favorite.. For some reason benchmade knives always stand out to me.. With that said,..do u have any personal experience on the CLA? I want a push button auto,..and the CLA is looking good to me.. Just wanted to see if anyone had anything bad to say about it before I spend $250 for a pocket knife.

I haven’t had any experience with one but I’ll see if I can get my hands on one for a future video 👍🏼

Cool looking knife. I like the blade shape. Its a steep price for a D2 blade. I could see it being $160 max, but $200 is asking too much.

My Freek with after market G10 scales kicked out all my other Benchmade knives from my rotation. I carry the Freek or Ritter Hogue most of the time but rotate some other stuff in too, but I think Benchmade is kind of dead to me at this point, there are a couple classic models I want for the collection but nothing new appeals to me enough to buy it.

Wasn't it Benchmade that volunteered to cut up people's guns during some buyback a few years ago?
@TalonSei11 ай бұрын
Benchmade has always backed the 2nd amendment and still does to this day. They were helping a local police department with their disposal of firearms and people blew the story out of proportion with wack facts.
@sciji311811 ай бұрын
@@TalonSei I'm going to take your word for it because I trust you, I seen some ppl arguing in some knife vid comments recently about it and it didn't make sense because.. well it's Benchmade. I don't appreciate the wack fact that they'd volunteer for that, but I immediately thought they'd probably be able to make some great knives with the materials, if they're allowed to keep them that is?
@TalonSei11 ай бұрын
I understand why people were upset about it but they didn’t look into the real facts and just chalked them up as being anti 2a. Here is a little bit of info from the countless articles about the situation. “The police department Oregon City, Ore., where Benchmade is based, went to Benchmade asking for help in the legal destruction of seized firearms. Benchmade assisted. For context, the way police departments deal with guns in their possession varies. In Ohio, law enforcement destroys seized guns. In Kentucky, by law, the police department is required to sell them. For the Oregon City department, however, selling guns in possession is off the table; they’re required by law to destroy them.”

It's a bummer I can never support benchmade even though their products look slick.
@0pt1tr0nD2710 ай бұрын
I will never buy a benchmade. They overcharge for what they offer. I especially don’t like the bugout. It’s flimsy plastic, and a fairly small knife, that they charge $200 for. I bought a knock off, off Amazon for $20 that functions the exact same as the actual bugout.
@Bushpig226 ай бұрын
I bought one, carried it for 2 weeks and returned it. Very disappointing effort to say the least. $180 for that? Cheap feeling plastic scales, way off balance and many of the other complaints that most people have. Suckers are born every minute though, and that's exactly what Benchmark is counting on with this one.
