I know red god is the new hotness rn, but for those of you who still like using blue/evolution, I suggest you check out the new super soul from base Gogeta. The ki recovery is on par the "time for a nap" soul from Majin Buu except there's no sleep to worry about and you'll also have even faster stamina recovery in blue with that soul.

@@theninja2k14 If the ki recovery really is as good as “Time for a little nap!”, then it literally is the number one super soul to make Blue and Blue evolution viable. It negates SSB drain, and slows SSBE drain to a crawl and you don’t have to worry about the sleep in the beginning like Buu’s SS. The 5% stamina recovery increase is just the cherry on top of an ice cream Sundae.

I love using it with the Zarbon super soul “You’ve awakened my true power…” since it gives a crazy boost to stamina regen, and boosts everything when you are using an awoken skill. Edit: Ok, it still doesn’t work as advertised, which sucks, so hopefully they make a really strong super soul for SSG at some point.

I was expecting Super Saiyan God to be a Saiyan equivalent to Potential Unleashed. Instead, we got an extremely basic attack focused Awoken. I don’t even mind the cons like no Strike or Ki Blast focus because I think the pros like Basic Attack boosts and improved Ki regen seem worth the tradeoff. Especially for a male Saiyan.

I use ‘I’m going to defeat you!’ Bardock SS. Boosts melee up to about 65-70% damage and boosts ki attacks by like 12%. It’s the most fun awoken skill by far. Especially with the timing mechanic in the combos for a quicker or heavy hit. W DLC.

If y'all didn't know, this also changes your combos as well. For instance, press ST/XY and then triangle on a male saiyan, you can dash cancel after the kickaway. On a female Saiyan a triangle/square combo allows her to dash after the knockback when the combo ends.

A good way to utilize the form in PQ'S that I've found is use Toppo's 2nd SS and have 2 characters use the SS "HERCULE, HERCULE". So far I've really only messed with the ssj4 limits broken build I did for my CAC.

I combined SSG with Toppo's super soul "I've cast aside everything for this" for PvE. It makes the speed and ki decrease normal. The only thing is you get slower stamina regen and 10% more damage. But it basically makes you as strong as blue evolution with no ki drain.

@@Codyslx Toppo's super soul says XXL which is supposed to be 25% but people testing it showed it was actually 34%. But that was 7 months ago that I last checked. The problem with evolution blue is the ki management which you would need a super soul and meditation anyway if you want to stay in it. With SSG with this set up, yeah you take more damage but you stay in the form the whole time and your just as strong. (Actually stronger for basic attacks.)

Idk why but Vegeta's new super soul popped in my head when watching this. Telling me it's like a boost in ki restoration and a bigger speed boost and plus more damage, not as much as Cabba's super soul with basic attacks but it does boost your strike and blast supers a bit more too. Could be good as well for SSB to help the ki drain a bit. So when the Gogeta raid comes out I'm definitely doing it.

So here's a breakdown of the new super souls for those that wanna know "My backs getting tingly" this is basically the HAAA super soul except it gives a S boost to all dmg temporarily instead of a M boost to strike and ki blast skills "It's just you and me now" gives you a L boost to all dmg and ki auto recovery temporarily, once when you lock onto an opponent and removes your ability to lock on/off "Our 2 strengths aren't just added together" always have ki auto recovery mode equivalent to what you get from the "Time for a nap" Buu super soul and a S boost to your stamina recovery Side note: when combined with meditation not only do you negate Blue Evo's drain, but you actually gain ki passively while in Blue Evo making it arguably the best super soul for SSB + SSBE "I will prevail, no matter the cost" when you have more ki than your opponent gain a L boost to all dmg, if you have less ki than your opponent activate ki auto recovery Kales ult does the most dmg and Cauliflas does the least dmg of the new ult's with Jiren and Gogetas being about the same if you dont combo comet strike with Gogetas new ult that is, but the thing is you can technically combo any ult after comet strike if it's fast enough, like soul punisher or power wall for example, even dragon fist/godly display can combo after, so comet strike is hands down the best strike super in the game IMO, also everyone should do the raids coming out as a certain Vegeta super soul is coming out for our cacs and it's gonna be possibly even better for SSB/SSBE's ki drain, you can see it now if ya look at the last super soul for custom mentor Gogeta Blue and Vegeta should obvs have it as well.

Thank you Cabby, you're the man! In PVE, I can clear every PQ solo with a ssg maxed base attack/ ki blast super build with Toppo's super soul (I've sacrificed everything for this). The added basic attack lets you mow through the ai like everyone is Raditz, maybe finishing with meteor explosion or power wall for the swag... For raids and such, I find Potential Unleashed with fu's super soul and good tracking ki blast moves to be the best (Assault Rain, Emperors Death Beam, regular and Super Spirit bomb , heavenly arrow, blaster shell). OK damage boost with no damn drain. Also, drain charge is ridiculously useful in 1v1s if you get the hang of it.

Another perfict fit for SSG for pve is vegeta's super soul: "Pathetic" once you stack(using blazing attack super) the damage boost for your blast/strike, you functionally have, +40%(without perfect timing) normal attack, +30% ki blast and strike, and even more ki restored from hit/clashs. the only thing you trade is the stamina regen for ki restoration.

If you want to get the highest possible damage by using a SS, for those of you who have it from a certain raid, "Buu's reached Full Power!" SS gives an XXL boost to all attacks that including basic attack when at max ki but the downside is your ki generating is cut down by M. If you activate SSG then the effects are mitigated since SSG gives more ki than in base. Run a lower ki build and use this to get the most damage possible from a SS. It also gives an XXL boost to the super you use but the effect goes away so you can use something like x10 Kamehameha when your opponent is low to finish off the entire last health bar at the end of your combo.

Note: super saiyan 2 and super vegeta 2 do more than super saiyan god (I had the super soul "I've cast everything aside for this") Super saiyan 2: 3,053 super god fist Super vegeta 2: 9,167 big bang kamehameha Super saiyan god: 2,748 (strike super) and 8,106 (ki super) However super saiyan god does have better basic hits and better ki gain though sometimes missing damage can determine a win or lost with supers and ultimates, which i love that! It makes the standard transformations good and some degree while giving super saiayn god its own benefits. Gaining Ki is one of the biggest advantages you want in this game, super attacks are so devastating at this time. Supers are so powerful, allow for pressure, diversity, and more, all of which are advantages to get in more damage and to avoid taking any. PU was the best transformation prior due to not restraining a players ki gain, but SSG allowing for greater ki gain really does allow it to be argued as the new best form. Especially with that normal dmg increase on a male Saiyans already massive normal dmg. Something that could break this form is its defence. SSB reduces your defence, SSG might do the same. Taking 10-20% more dmg would be rough.

Everyone keeps talking about cabbas suoer soul and zarbons But i remember seeing a video not that long ago with a soul that gave xl boost to all attacks as long as you have max ki. God takes 3 bars to transform, burst charge charges 3 bars almost instantly, god only boosts basic attacks. So imagine 60% with another xl boost on top at all times from the very start of the match..... Yea this is a broken pvp form. The timed inputs feel like the switch from God to Blue, something Goku did against Dyspo in the Anime and Vegeta against Goku Black in the manga. Anyway, as powerful as this Form is in-game, I don't recommend this on male saiyan for PvP, as the timed inputs negate your cancels, which are essential for the meta game of a male saiyan. So what's high damage when you can't catch your opponent? Maybe people find ways around it. For Female Saiyan, thus awoken is a blessing, as they don't rely on cancels. They even gain them, since a successful input allows to cancel the animation with a step.

It might not be optimal for pve, but outside of ki-blast spamming builds, SSG is really, really fun in pve.

Male saiyan 3 ki bars Burst charge Super soul buus reached his full power (i think, its the 1 that gives xl boost for max ki) You can just do some serious damage with basic punches

Seeing the numbers on basics and ki recovery makes it clear why they reworked (mostly nerfed) blazing attack/pathetic. Having all that damage alongside ki recovery that's on par with divinity unleashed would actually be out of control.

I use Cabba's SS I'll Make You Regret That! Which boosts basic attacks XL and Melee attacks S With Super Saiyan God this transformation makes for great comebacks plus the transformation is not only badass but fast it helps me make fast comebacks in pvp and pve alike

I'm gonna 100% disagree with you on the stance that SSG isn't good for PvE. Obviously, not for things that have armor or can only be hit by Ki Blasts, but for general PQ's, it is REALLY good if you don't have any partners. You do so much damage and can land consistent combos that even beats the increased defense AI that are in PQ's 101-103. It makes mince meat of opponents and is the reason why I was able to Z Rank EVERY DLC PQ. SSG is godlike for PvE, and especially, for PvP.

Combine super saiyan god with zarbon's ss you've awoken my full power and divinity unleashed you get a great pve build too, insane ki gain with a small increase to all abilities on top of ssg's normal attack increase

I personally like SSG better than the others it's good for if you just want a saiyan with good basic attacks since my build already has high ki blast damage I don't really need a boost to ki blast or strike supers.

Damage is great. But everyone's forgetting something very important. The transformation stops. Step cancels. ki blast cancels. Super and ultimate knock back cancels. The transformation may do a butt load of damage. But tech wise it's just a glass Canon.

When I use SSGSS I don't have Ki drain either...my setup helps If I use SSGSS Evolved it drains a little bit but I can fight 3 God-tier opponents at once! And win!
