Ive been playing this for 2 days and i love it. Instead of shadowstep i run concealment and caltrops, synergy aspect to decrease the cooldown. Additionally, 3 points into impetus will allow you alpha a lot of elites around the corner when roaming.

I use caltrops and the first icy passive. Its basically doubles the explosions and allows me to play backwars and CC elites. Been rapid fire since launch.

Ever tried a "daze" build with Improved Twisting Blades, Shadow Step, Rapid Gambits, Death Trap and Exposure ? You then need to have aspects of Explosive Verve and Surprise to have grenade counts as trap and drop grenades each time you Shadow Step or Evade (which is all the time thanks to the daze provided by TB). You can get your Death Trap to reset within 10 seconds even on single target, on pack you can just chain them after using your 2 charges of Shadow Imbuement. Really fun to play.

As Rogue only player I would love to see any and all builds that make the class viable in endgame. It really seems they gave Rogue a ton of options for playstyles, with all the aspects revolving around core skills just being awesome and often build defining. I'm thinking of making just one solid Rogue build around death trap/poison trap, and core skill of my choice, having only to swap Paragon boards (🤢), and 1-2 items for aspects. That way I can be versatile with the only character I'll play until a crusader/war monk/paladin drops and I start a new character. Love all your videos, and initially found you through Destiny 2. Keep it up! You are greatly appreciated!

Wild to me barely anyone uses lucky hit to daze vuln aspect. That plus only 2 points on tree gives crazy constant knockdowns to ever rogue build. Is incredibly strong. Maybe it's better people don't so it doesn't get nerfed. So much value from one aspect and two points.

I use it too. I also use smoke grenade because I want to have a CC on demand. Smoke gren on evade is nice too. With the knockdown from ptrap and good timing I can chain CC anything that's not a boss. And take no dmg. Fun =)

Hey Nick, you should look into a Stealth Ranger Trapper build. I'm running No Generator, Pen Shot, Shadow Step, Shadow Imbuement, Concealment, Poison and Death Trap. The thing that makes the build is Infiltrator's Aspect, as you then use concealment to set 4 traps. As you know with Exploit on Paragon board, basically get Vulnerable for free, otherwise take Subverting Concealment letting your traps pop to apply vulnerable. After that, nuke them down with Pen Shot (Or Twisting Blades works well, just risky-ish deaths) and repeat. I tried running Rapid Fire, but Trickshot Aspect for Pen Shot burst is more OP, imho. Give it a shot and tell me what you think. Thanks! Paragon board still goes Trapper into Exploit, into whatever you want lol.

@@ThePolarpop It for sure is not nearly as good as poison. Like by far worse. However, for AoE clear is unreal. PenShot with Trickshot Aspect just had so much synergy with Imbuements, especially Shadow, that it explodes all em, if not just being vulnerable and taking poison damage. You can usually shoot the two casts of Imbued Pen Shot and not take any damage, as you would with TB.

You mentioned it, but i absolutely LOVE Temerity pants with this build. With the siphoning strikes its almost always a 40-80% (Depending on your roll) shield. Cheats and Disobedience on the helm and chest. Chefs kiss. Have been running edgemasters and Smiting but may try out the extra crit.

my rapid fire build melts packs and bosses; using dash, poison imbue, shadow imbue, arrow rain, concealment (mouse4 thumb button), and rapid fire. concealment is great for it's unstoppable and gives you 40 mana on use, you can also put a point into it so that it will add vuln to target for those longer boss fights. having both imbuements absolutely melts single targets and arrow rain disintegrates packs. I'm wearing the unique shadow clones gloves for dmg and that +3 to rapid fire. also have the arrow rain necklace which is great for any build using multiple imbuements, also have +3 poison imbue on helm. my shadow imbue is lv8 and poison is lv7. you can swap out arrow rain for shadow clone on bosses if need extra dps or for a second unstoppable but is not necessary. am also using the legendary aspect that dazes vuln mobs combined with the passive to knock down daze makes for some amusing elite fights where they just keep falling over. great build if you can get it up and running.

@@dbod4866 fair. ~42-50 was really rough for me as well. the way the gear is tiered before sacred made it near impossible to power up through the 40's but i'm assuming that's an issue for any build that's not running one of the broken meta's. best advice to early game rapid fire is to try and keep the ricochet aspect on your amulet and the arrowstorm proc on your xbow/bow, and try to find a reliable way to get vuln on the mobs. I didnt fully realize how strong vuln was and took me til near 70 to equip the exploit glyph; made for some rough leveling. is a lot of trial and error balancing everything out. but it def smooths out once you break into world T3 and T4 and as soon as the paragon board unlocks it makes a world of difference even if done poorly. cleared a nm T51 at lv85 with this set-up, mobs 20 lvls higher than me; though total glass cannon of course.

I've made an elemental archer build using the unique boots that leaves a trail of frost, all three imbuements and paragon nodes boosting imbuement damage. Got some drops with crazy high % damage vs chilled and crowd controlled, doesn't even need the rapid fire legendary to melt everything. Works with Penetrating shot as well, still have to try barrage. Last two slots can be dash if you like pretty agressive playstyle, cold caltrops for kitting or double traps if you really want to put huge damage out. It works very well with Rapid Fire, has insane single target damage. Crits are huge too since every shot you drop is imbued with boosted damage.

Rain of fire synergises well with this build too with the guaranteed crit on first hit legendary. Pair that with the full imbuement rain of arrows peek and it melts the whole screen.

Try aspect of retribution with opportunist aspect and synergy aspect, using barrage, shadow imbuement, and poison imbuement. Constantly stunning and doing super insane numbers. I also use Crowd control glyphs and double poison damage. World boss on tier 4 can be solo'd in about 50 seconds. Curious when a boss is staggered does that count as a stun?

Feels to me that you HAVE to take dash to spread the imbuement, just RF doesn't really feel like an option and isn't comparable for spreading the explosions

I'm not sure why. I have switched out gems a few times and I always noticed I survive better when I run ruby gems in armor for the bonus health than when I run topaz gems.

I think you should consider Aspect of Arrow Storms, seems good with this build. "Lucky Hit: Your Marksman Skills have up to a 10% chance to create an arrow storm at the enemy's location, dealing [X] Physical damage over 3 seconds. You can have up to 5 active arrow storms." I saw some of this with more than 8k base dmg [6 976 - 8 720] on the amulet.

I do rapid fire with clone ultimate along with poison and shadow imbues. I am doing tier 32-35 nm and I’m lvl 77. Rapid fire is so underlooked. compared to melee rogue and penetrating shot. Poison and shadow with clone aspects which also mimics ur imbue melts bosses. I cleared capstone at lvl 59.

Great. I still dont know why Wudijo chose shadow clone for rapid fire build and deathtrap for barrage build. Meamwhile barrage is already good at clear and fit well with shadow clone. And rapid fire is lack of clear potential work well with deathtrap.

Crossbow is better for literally every build, cause they give +vuln damage compared to bows which gives you +dmg against distant enemys

If you use death trap and then spam twisting blades it doesnt reset as fast, im using shadowimbue -> 2 -4 twisting blades (depending of your atkspeed) then death trap and the twisting blades return activates same time as the death trap so you have higher chance of getting the proc that lowers the CD of death trap.
