Probably shoots footage in a couple gopros for the in vehicle shots, then probably either a dslr, or a phone for the fpv shots he does. Wild guess is that he esits the vids throughout the day, and then polishes it at night and uploads it either via cellular data or hotel internet.

A good training experience for the boys is to ask if they want to rebuild a charging whirler (solo). If you get a yes, have him rebuild your alternator instead of getting your core charge back. Then you'll have a good spare for cheap. ...AND a proud accomplished young man.

Derek has saved me more than once with his down to earth tutorials. Don't give up rescuing rides! If I don't learn something, it's still challenging entertainment aka (what would I do in the same situation?). P.S. That swapping out soft brake lines solved my overheating engine, overheating brake smell, pulling to the right, gas mileage, and more horse power! Good grief how one issue could affect so much.

I grew up in Gainesville close enough to the drag strip that I could hear it. Also worked the concessions there several times as fund raiser for the band. This was usually at Gatornationals and I first hand saw Shirley Muldowney and "Big Daddy" Don Garlits in their heyday. I just aged myself...
