I just got a crazy idea for a truck only drag race, the bed has the be fully loaded with a refrigerator, stove, washer, dryer, 1 couch, 1 table, 4 chairs and you only get 1 strap to hold it all down. I am still working out the scoring due to penalties for the obvious loss of furniture.

Just an idea but carry a tire plug set, the tire is done for racing but the plug should hold for any street/road use/speeds…. Might save needing a tow or wrecking a rim

I agree with Jessica. Even though I don't know what I'm doing with drag racing, 9.22 is amazing to me. That's fast IMO. That truck is street legal. I guess. I doubt you have converters. In some states that would mess you up.

For that throttle linkage, I know a fella’s gotta use what a fella has, but WD40 is about the worst thing to use for that. The best is a product called Tri-Flow. Available everywhere, but bicycle shops sell it by the truckload. Next I’d use LPS1 (dry film) or LPS2 (wet film). LPS3 is a better water displacement-penetrant than WD-40. All I’d use WD-40 for is stopping rust on tools. I’d never use the t in an engine bay. It eats seals.
