Scott Plasma 5 the Teletubbie Hunter. Klasse Video. DANKE!!! Kona is calling!

Incredible video - thanks for sharing your insight into the new bike! You have always been my favorite pro and I can't wait to watch you again this year in Hawaii. We flew over to watch the race to watch you and unfortunately, we were standing 15 feet from where you were forced to stop during the run. I was gutted when I was filming you and watched you come off course and into the area your wife and coach were standing through the lens of my camera. The level of emotion was second to nothing that I have seen. I offered your coach a car ride back to your hotel, but your car was only a few meters away. I watch that film over and over as a motivation to never give up. Understanding how much pain you were in and how hard you tried during that race (with all of the obstacles) is so motivating. Thanks for adding character and depth to the sport we all love Seb!

Hi Seb! First of all many thanks for all videos you do for us (your fans)! Have small question about tyres. Based on info from several web sources Schwalbe is not the best tyre on market (based on rolling resistance). Do you consider other tyres (continental gp 5000 tl for example)? If Schwalbe is recommended by Scott can you please share a bit more details if possible. Can you please also share your experience with tubeless tyres later on (pressure you use, handling and etc)? Thanks!

SRAM AXS is a step backwards in having smaller chainrings and bigger cogs. It is mechanically less efficent. You should put a larger cassette on and bigger chainrings
@SebastianKienleTriathlete5 жыл бұрын
In theory I agree, but it has bigger pulley wheels, which make up for some of it and then it really depends on what speed (which gear) you are riding. Pretty sure there will be more chainring options. And yes it's not the solution of every course. On some courses I will still go with a 2by groupset.
@jamesd52415 жыл бұрын
@@SebastianKienleTriathlete Yes for you Seb itd be pretty easy especially 1by to get a bigger front chainring so then itd be fine. I just wish they made the whole thing designed that way

You stick with low and strait TT bars. Many ppl opt to ski bend models to have higher hands. Any aero testing or just personal preference?

Love the bike. And that scott hasnt forced its athletes into running disc brakes. No aero advantage. More weight. Just bike companys trying to force a new trend that isnt needed in ironman/TT.

So a 12 speed cogset may be nice. But what about the economy of a 10speed gear ring? That is far worse than a 11speed... and that is already bad. There is a reason why 1h record holder have a 14speed gear ring on the back. Friction just goes through the sky. You do everything on aerodynamics and forget about 4-5% more friction on 350W? I doubt that this is the right way...
