If you heard me say ''Tabarnak'' a lot, here is the definition for the non quebecois folks out here ahahahah! TABARNAK! (f*ck!) It bears repeating because it’s a common misconception: the Québécois don’t swear by saying tabernacle; they swear by saying tabarnak. The swear word tabarnak comes from tabernacle, yes, but tabernacle is reserved for referring to an actual tabernacle. Pay close attention to the differences between the two words: tabernacle and tabarnak. The swear word tabarnak has an a in the middle (not an e), and there’s no le on the end.

I would say most of these problems are TT-bike specific problems. I'm not a good mechanic at all but after my last visit to a bikeshop left me frustrated (didn't fix my problem although I did pay for it) I now do most of it myself and I've put a a few roadbikes together (1 with di2) without much problems (I do have the jagwire internal routing tool), don't know about Hambini's BB's but normal Shimano pressfit BB's are easy to uninstall/install. Anyways I just hope that other brands will follow the Aethos route and stop with so much integration (or "update" their bikes with it), this is cool for racing and TT's but I don't care about 2 watts if it takes an hour extra to work on a bike!
@CharlesOuimet3 жыл бұрын
well if those 2 watts ads up for every improvement, it's totally worth the extra work at the beginning in my opinion!! Thanks for sharing man
@KoenMiseur3 жыл бұрын
@@CharlesOuimet for you maybe but most people aren't racing, so for them/me it's just an annoyance that shouldn't be dealt with. Don't forget that only a very small percentage of people buying roadbikes (not talking about TT-bikes) are racing them, for the rest of us even 15 watts doesn't matter, we just want to have fun on the bike and don't want to put in hours waisting on maintenance (and I even like working on my bike) but want more time for a beer!

I remember when Lance used a dowtube shifter for the front derailleur and an STI for the rear at the TdF, just to put in perspective the importance of the front derailleur.
