Congrats on the Triumph. I have had mine for two months and loving it. At 64 years old with back problems, I felt it was time for a lighter bike after 13 years on Beemers, the last being a R1250RS.

got both mine on bikes (although I tried to put them off)- its pretty stressful tbh with all the risks but hope it all works out - we had a 3 way comms with our cardos and that was the best fun Ive had for awhile - bike looks good - my two jumped on Honda 650r's (restricted) but Ive got to say their riding after mod 1 and 2 was alot better than after a cbt but youre right we do make them jump through silly hoops to get there - anyway nice to see you still enjoy the rain and I hope hes luckier with the weather!

I’m incredibly conflicted over Ben riding… I’m so happy that he shares the same passion as me but obviously as a parent I worry about safety. I didn’t discourage him from riding but I keep my fingers crossed he rides sensibly. His younger brother wants to take his test too…! I remember great rides when I was younger with my dad so I very much look forward to sharing the experiences and the fun with my two as well. Thanks for watching 😁

That's great, I had the same experience with my son four years ago, and we ride together all the time now. Even now I still worry. We've gone down to Croatia and back last year, as well as Scotland NC500, going to the Picos in Spain, then Belgium and Luxembourg this year, and planning the Wild Atlantic Way at some point, too. A great thing to be able to do with my son. Wishing him the best of luck with his new Bike, and what a fabulous bike it is!

Gone are the days where getting a bike license were a simple task of riding around the block and boom, there's your license lol. Over the years it has become more of a cash grab but I cannot blame the rider schools as its more to do with the DVSA and the EU directive though I am glad I did mine when I did, had been on 125's on and off for about 10 year before taking that leap of faith and now I'm riding a 97 XJ600N. Got into biking solely due to having bikers in the family and its always nice to see the legacies being carried on, the Tiger looks mint :) Safe riding guys.

I remember when I took my test it was much, much simpler. It’s an expensive faff now but if it makes for safer riders that’s fair enough. Yes, watching the legacy continue is fantastic. My grandad rode, as did my dad and now me and my son (sons eventually as Ben’s brother is looking to take his test too). Thanks for watching 😁
