With that and the minimap and killstreaks directly from multiplayer like a chopper gunner, it makes zombies feel like an alternate multiplayer mode, and not it’s own thing like it was. Change is fine and we’ve had change throughout zombies entire lifecycle, but they have way too many features that mimic multiplayer and warzone right now. Zombies used to be its own completely separate thing and it just doesn’t feel that way anymore. Not that it means the mode can’t be good, but I feel that it will always hold it back.

Yes they implement features but it CW itself wasn’t recieved well, they said this is CW done right being that they didn’t have enough time to complete the game due to an internal conflict that resorted in Treyarch being in charge during the late stages of the game. But overall by the public CW was recieved as one of Treyarchs worst zombies but decent in terms of the mode itself compared to sledgehammer or infinitiwards attempts at the mode

Cold War, but better in pretty much every way. Im happy with this. This is coming from someone who has played zombies avidly since WaW, did most of the easter eggs in all 4 previous games, and still thinks Bo3 was the best game in the series. I think people need to stop living in the past, and just enjoy the present man. The new stuff is just as good as the old stuff. Sure there are some small things missing that I would still like to see, like the PaP animation, but I am capable of recognizing that as nothing more than rose-tint. Just because something is different, doesnt mean it is automatically worse. If you want truly bad, you can look at MW3 zombies and Vanguard, that usbwhat TRULY bad zombies looks like. Cold war, and so far this game, just look like refinements of zombies to me, and Im happy to welcome them into the zombies family.

I'd be interested in a DMZ mode with zombies instead of bots with firearms. Add new missions every season with maybe more insured slots. Or maybe have insured loadouts instead of insured weapons with perks like jug or whatever you choose. Maybe come in with 3 or 4 then you have to buy the others. If they keep the med, temp, comms and stealth armor satchels, upgrade those. Maybe the stealth does the same thing but now it has an option with a cool down that you can trigger for 30sec so it doesn't alert bots, or maybe the stealth comes with a dead silence that has a cool down or maybe combine those two as something you can select. Medic gives you a free self revive or revive pistol. Comms gives you the same except maybe it has a built in UAV for 30 secs and has a few minutes of cool down now. Tempered vest only has two plates so maybe if you have a temp on you have increased movement speed the entire time or maybe as a cool down, or maybe you have increased stamina and can tact sprint for longer or something.

I would pay $500 dollars for a transit style map or gameplay with a bank system that carries over money. Let us not forget our best elements Treyarch... Ur my peeps! I have never had soo much fun except when I fortified that bus the best I could and tried different ways. Then running last second to drop all my loot in a safe place and be able to get a quick start next game. Or be able to co-ordinate with multiple people and do a mad easter egg hunt with banked money at early level because we were never very good at mid to high levels anyway :)

PHD slider is so much better.. We should be able to slide the effect, I litterally never dolphin dive in zombies because there's zero point.. And by proxy I litterally always forget I have PHD because it becomes obsolete, nobody dolphin dives in zombies it's risky and a liability.. Bring back PHD slider so the perk can be of use🎯🎯🎯

??? were you not playing bo2 zombies buried in 2013 when they had a secret “phd flopper” you could just dolphin dive repeatedly, doesn’t even have to be from a big height either, and kill all zombies in the aoe. We did dolphin dive back then and it was literally fine lol so idk what you talking about, I played tf outta Buried though.

Honestly I wish people would stop complaining about certain features in this mode. Also I’m so sick and tired of these same people saying Cold War zombies was bad, like did you even play the damn game or did you just sit back and whine the whole time? Because I can tell you as a person who played WAW zombies up to now, Cold War had the best mechanics of any zombies mode period and that’s not up for discussion. Now with BO6 they’re refining those great elements with better ones and injecting a lot more personality into them with a set crew, 2 original maps that aren’t just reused assets, Terminus being a huge map filled with easter eggs that are said to be way harder than CW, a WAY better gobblegum system, and even brand new QoL features like save and quit. But no, all people wanna do is complain about armor, rarities and the hud.

I 100% agree, while classic zombies had its moments and nostalgia for us, eventually good things must come to an end (but I guess not many people will ever understand that for COD zombies). I love classic zombies too, but I also love it when Treyarch makes completely different changes to show how COD Zombies will evolve differently because Imma be honest, if COD Zombies stayed the same formula this whole time, not even I would know if I would stick around for that or complain the repetitiveness of the same formula over and over again. Even Outbreak, for someone who loves open-world games, I personally loved Outbreak (despite its flaws). It's clear to me Treyarch can't go back to OG/Classic zombies anymore, but that's ok for me. There's still at least some OG stuff here in BO6 like Gobblegums (new and improved system), some of our favorite perks (I too miss Double Tap, but I might've figured out why they may not add it again, still would be cool to see it again), and some classic guns (including the Ray Gun). I just wish people would see the potential with completely new stuff and returning OG stuff, but new and improved instead of them complaining and begging to bring back Classic zombies when eventually it had to come to an end.

I like the HUD, the map needs to be removed though. I’ve always hated the RPG hud style, with t and health bars on the zombies. Bo3 zombies was the last one I ever touched sadly.

The dummy from cold war got reworked into wallbuy armor plates. Its an eh change, idk how to feel Abt it yet but refilling armor wherever I want is def an improvement. Salvage got changed which is why this did too :)
