Ooooh, that thing is slick. I hope your forthcoming video on the CMRM includes an explanation as to why, with all of Colorado's railroad wonders...they're modeling a fictionalized version of the Oregon, California & Eastern. Including the unbuilt extension to Lakeview, which does not have enough lake to need bridges that big. I asked last time I was there, but the answer didn't make a whole lot of sense.

Ive got a brass hybrid sp&s northern. Not 700, but 701. The weight is nice to have for pulling power, but don't forget they come standard with traction tires. That being said, the pulling power bli engines have is absolutely bonkers! Jealous you got a big boy! That being said, im looking at getting a pennsy s1 when they drop 😆

That thing is amazing! That shine... I just got my first BLI engine like a month ago, just a cute little 2-8-2. It outpulled a Big Boy made by some guy whos name starts with an L. These things are crazy pullers 🤩💪

WOW Mark that Big Boy model is beautiful! Much pausing to examine the details. I really liked the polished look too. I wonder if it comes with a mini Ed Dickens? 🤣 And that historic versions are available as well is ultra cool. Seeing the Colorado Model RR Museum was an absolute treat. This was my first time seeing it. The layout looks extraordinary, could spend hours there! OMG that trestle bridge was fabulous. Oh I really wanted to visit this place last year, but I just didn't have enough time in Denver. I'll have to come back to the US sometime. Darn 🙄 A great museum, and so nice they have the "other" statue of Dirt the Cat there. Super model of Big Boy. Now, if only they made it in 1:20 scale to go with my trains 🤔

It looks really good honestly. Better than my old HO Trix Bigboy I got back in the early 2000s. The 4013 they made thats made out of metal. Doesn't even have audio. :'(

Must be nice to get a $700 model for free. Haha. Oh, and most of the end cars for the UP excursion train have never been made. However, Broadway Limited is making them now or has them in the works. They'll have kenefick towards the end of the year. They're working on the Power/generator car and that theater car that's on the back of your train.

I really want to get a BLI Big Boy, but it is so out of my era and locale that it's hard to justify. I model 2010s-present CN in southern Ontario. Although if I were to model something else it would be UP in the 50s and 60s.

Running a model from a real cab, and the screen actually hides in the window rather than being jank squashed into the window frame of a D&H U30C... That's not fair why can't we get a sim that nice... Joking aside, that model is exquisite and the amount of road details put into an HO model are giving Rapido a run for their money, more than impressed coming from a person whose modeled 3-Rail O-Scale his whole life...

I think BLI makes really good models, but where they lack Is in the sound department paragon Steam sounds are just garbage. The stealth version of their locomotives are the best.
