I met a 2016 340i at the dragstrip a couple weeks ago. I have a 2011 335i with Dinan stage 2 software and he was running better ETs and trap speeds than I. And he was stock. I raced him 4 times. I won twice, and he won twice. The videos are on my channel. I was thinking about ugrading to a 340i. But the AMG C63 sure looks tempting.

I have to admit as a former owner of a z3 M that I'm not at all a fan of these "M Sport" packages. if I'm paying for the distinction that comes with the M badges then I don't want them liberally scattered throughout out the product line. The jump up in badging should match the gulf in pricing and performance and in my mind this leads to some dillution of value and exclusivity of the purely "M" models. Porsche is guilty as well with its recent Turbo charging of its Carrera and GTS 911 models, when before this was exclusively reserved for the flagship 911 Turbo and even more exclusive GT2.....just think it's a bad direction in marketing that in no way reflects on the salesforce. your thoughts +Scott BMW Smith

Track handling package does not have the fogs, for greater air flow/cooling. Regular M Sport package without the THP has the fogs.

Gas cap says don't go below 89 octane. Run flat tires are standard. Track Handling Package does not have run flats. No spare tire. Thanks glad you are enjoying the videos.

You're confusing wheel width with wheel diameter. Diameter=16,17,18,20etc. Inch wheels. Width is how wide the wheel is and that ,for the most part will determine tire widened size. For instance I have 17 inch wheels ,but it's specs are 17x9 +35 offset, so the proper tire size is also 255s on my 17 inch wheels.

wheels are not my thing. I do like the DRL - but a bit sad that they are reflectors rather then projectors. Projectors are cooler imo. Also in Belgium with BMW M rims the centre caps are centered with the M logo. Also I am grateful that u mentioned that the white lcd changes to amber. I love the BMW amber at night.
