Wow! As a color pro, I’m very impressed with the level/tone/color result. If you mix your prelightener to a 1:3 or 1:3.5 or even a 1:4 ratio of grams or ounces of powder/creme lightener to a higher volume of developer (20 is perfect), the lightening/oxidation of the hair will be a bit slower but that means the cuticle is lifted and the hair swells slower which maintains a healthier cuticle and cortex that isn’t blown out and dried out and damaged faster like a lower ratio, 1:2 or 1:2, of even 10vol. Love watching your videos. Remember, the wetter the lightener, the healthier the hair will be in the long run.

That colour toner is gorgeous. my favourite one you've used so far. If you use it again, i think it might be a good idea to use the 6 volume as recommended as it will do less damage (according to hair buddha). Blondme does a 7 vol. I use it on my hair its great. I only mention as i know you're keen to keep your hair healthy. I really enjoyed the video. The hair colour suits you so much - and the hair cut. Both stunning.

They are expensive but I will never go back to wella now ! I do find it needs to be done hire blonde to work, so I have been using it more on my length and doing a little ash root smudge.. I also added the bond bar (6?) to my bowl for added protection and diluting my 20vol instead of buying a 10 and it turns out so good

1.4 fl. oz of Wella T18 in California is $9.99. As far as the developer goes, just dilute it with water. I have 20 dev. and I cut it in half with H2O and it creates 10 dev. What is interesting is diluting the developer with H2O, creates a chemical affect that makes application even EASIER! Your welcome. ;)

I would have used a 20 vol developer anyway. Maybe would have diluted it. I remember they used to say that bonding agents weaken the developer. I've never used a 6 vol, never would.

But the thing is, the directions said 6 VOLUME, and that is like 1,9/2% developer. So basically 20 volume or 6% was to high of a volume for a good deposit of the color.. 😊
