As much as i love by Terry powders, all 4 pull very yellow/warm and i'm not a fan of extra/tacky packaging (hence no ysl either). I finally got the VB one and with another shade from D&G i'm good for this year and until i die it seems

I recently decluttered most of my bronzers. What did I keep? Well I chose to keep my Surratt, RMS and Chanel Cream bronzer. I actually just repurchased the Chanel Cream. I’ve always loved byTerry but the scent makes the brand a no go for me. Glad to her the new bronzer doesn’t have the rose smell. And, honestly I usually don’t even think about Lancome 😢. It’s sad because I remember how luxe they were in the 70’s and 80’s. Hopefully they’ll be able to climb back to where they once were❤️❤️❤️

G'day Rebecca, yes I'm still watching and haven't fallen off the edge of the earth just yet. I have two bronzers and that's all that I need. I honestly don't feel the need for bronzer, except for times I may look a tad pale, then I apply all over the face as to not frighten anyone thinking that I'm a vampire. The product that I like to use more is the golden shade from the light/medium in the Burberry Cheek Palette. I love using that beautiful golden shade all over my face to add that nice subtle glow without any powdery appearance. Most lipsticks do end up looking pretty much the same except for the different textures. I usually will wear satins, yet do have metallic, some mattes from Valentino and Prada, some that have the lighter glowy appearance etc. I can definitely tell the difference between these. If I was to compare all of my satins, the majority do look and feel like each other. Some do apply better than others, especially in this rather cold weather. Another cold front is hitting this evening bringing gale force winds again plus a dumping of snow on the nearby alps. I wasn't able to set up an online account with a certain Cosmetics Company last week as it just wouldn't accept me. I emailed the company and if it's unsuccessful again, they have offered to do it for me. Can't help you with Ulta, we don't have that here. I like the By Terry tone a little more on you and being such a fan of their pressed and loose powders I’d definitely like to try it. And I totally get the Lancôme quandary of granny or edgy… I see their products in use and really like them but don’t feel the pull to investigate their displays!

Bronzers are my obsession lately. I was so excited to watch this video! Thank You! I probably stop buying more bronzers to be honest - I love all my collection. But I had my eyes on Lancome after raving reviews. It is not released in Canada yet. By Terry looks nice, but I don’t like it’s price tag. I think Lancome probably will be more reasonable. I have YSL and half expected not to like it and actually keep reaching for it every morning since I got it, even over my favourite Gucci! Both look really great on you - hard to say which I prefer. I may still go for Lancome once they will launch it here.

It is INSANE that you had to go through all of that to order from Ulta 🙄. Someone else has used my phone number for their Ulta account (I’ve had the number since 2000) and it always causes a stink. But they haven’t locked me out yet, thank goodness!!! My guess for the creamy/thicker bronzer these remind you of is the Haus Labs. Let’s see if I was right… Nope! But I have and LOVE the YSL bronzer. Comparing these to the YSL says great things about them!! Both of the By Terry and Lancôme bronzers are beautiful! If I had to choose, I liked the By Terry side more. Luckily for me, I have enough bronzers I love that I can be very discerning. I don’t want any bronzer that’s heavily scented, even if it doesn’t last. I have one of the Lancôme lip balms. I like it. I’d definitely get another of another shade caught my eye! Fun video!! I love a guessing game, even when I get the answer wrong!!

I think they had a wrong phone number in there for me as well or some other email address. I don’t know. It never caused a real problem until recently and I think I’ve had the issue for years. Just ignored it. But they’re not fixing it and I am so frustrated

I purchased the YSL off the review you posted of it months back. I got the lightest shade and I have been in love with it. I love it so much I have already hit pan, which is kind of shocking. I think both of these bronzers look great. The Lancome has a light shade that seems like it could be comparable to the YSL. If that’s the case, I will probably pick that one up. Hopefully at some point it will be in store so we can see it.

Jones Road. It’s light but it’s pink cool brown. Fashioned after a shade in her namesake line that is likely still there too.

As Rebecca said, Jones Road, but also Gucci shade 1, Surratt Clair and Lancome shade 2. BoB Mindset does a great job showing the different undertones on all the new Lancome bronzer. I've got fair/light cool toned skin so I'm always on the lookout for a rosy bronzer 😊!

Good morning Rebecca! I can never resist a bronzer review. Both of these are giving your lovely face a mega healthy California tan appearance and it’s hard to pick but I would have to agree that I like the By Terry side a bit better - it looks a little more neutral. I need another powder bronzer like I need a hole in my head but I did pick up the new matte formula of By Terry Tea to Tan spray which can be used on face or body. It also has fragrance but it’s so versatile and I love it! I spray it on a brush and use it lightly. Chef’s kiss!

Sadly, both are out for me personally as I can not take a fragrance. I really like both brands, but Lancome ( which I have used for 30 plus yrs.) is getting too fragrant. Also I am in Australia & Lancome has slowly died in shops for some reason. Smaller and fewer products available for nearly 2 yrs now. By Terry, I loved their cheek pallet but had to return as the rose fragrance was way too much. Wish these brands would ease up on fragrances. Not everybody can handle fragrance. Even for health reasons, fragrances may be harmful to asthma. Etc. A fragrance free good bronzer for me. Haha ❤

It is strange that some brands insist on fragrance. The only thing I could think of for a strange fascination with fragrance is that maybe it covers a bit of a chemical smell that would otherwise be in the product?

I really appreciate these reviews, very helpful. I have had similar ongoing issue with Ulta, They never resolved mine, over a year now. I no longer even try, I just go elsewhere, occasionally buy in store. There are so many great products we can buy direct or go to Sephora, Credo, Bluemercury, department stores. Ulta should care more about the customer.

I have heard wonderful things about the Lancome Intimatte lipsticks.💄 Need to try those. In terms of bronzer, I'm eyeing the Kosas bronzer in the bright yellow compact to go with my new Kosas blush. Our local Sephora has been sold out of my shade for the past month, so it must be selling well.

I liked the by Terri best as well. The YSL is warmer, so you know it is not my fave. I think my by Terri arrives today. I ordered color 2, but it may be too dark. I think you used a heavy hand, so I could probably go light and make it work. But the Lancôme is my favorite so far. I have both colors 1 and 2 and LOVE them both. SO creamy!!!! And I like the undertones - No orange!

I had the same thing happen to me but they finally helped me in-store merg the account because they gave me the number to call and I kept getting locked out of my account . Seems like nobody knows what they are doing anymore and can't help heck they don't even want to help u out with the coupon in-store in you leave ur phone in the car. I rather have a super candy scent 😂 I hate a perfume flower scent in my makeup . I was looking at the Lancome and I couldn't find a color I loved in the deeper shades they looked very orangey on pics idk how they look IRL because literally have only seen shade 2 being reviewed by everyone and that's a face powder for me probably even to light for a face powder.

Oh that’s so hard when you’re not seeing the other shades reviewed. The real reason for PR is so that one influencer can get all of the colors and you can at least see them swatch better.

How did it happen that all these companies ALL decided at once to give their lip balms such wordy and intricate names? Bizarrely complicated titles for the most sheer products for lips? If I could remember so many descriptive words, I would have gone to med school! I can’t, LOL Also, I’m no good at bronzing - I’m not sure I have the skin tone for it - I don’t tan - but I still dabble and try - if I use it, I consider it a warming powder or blush -then I’m basically done - I’m sure I’m wrong 😅 - I like the packaging of the Lancôme a lot though - it gives me “great-grandma chic”, which I’m into 😊 - but I’m sure it will look just like the Gucci bronzer on me -

I’ve never had that problem with Ulta but can you just make up a new account with a new email address? Even a nickname or your moms or someone else’s name? I thought computers were supposed to make our lives easier?! I have so many bronzers. Probably because as I am light olive I need a lighter bronzer but I like a more yellow/ light olive undertone which is impossible to find. Most bronzers that are lighter have much cooler undertones which look either pink or grey on me. So I have to be very careful when I apply the darker ones in the winter months. I am much more tan in the summer if I’m outside a lot.

This issue with Ulta has existed for years and, to get around it, I did exactly as you’re suggesting but it has finally kind of caught on and realize that I am all of the nicknames and all of the different email addresses and it’s connected them all and it won’t let me buy anything
