@@joen5061 I mean it’s 2056 vs 2075. Yea the 2075 is supposed to be stronger but it’s honestly criminal traxxas have the audacity to be making either in this decade. They should drop all standard size servos below the 2270 and make that the standard servo, and anything that currently includes it gets the sledge servo or the 2250. Also the 2270 should be knocked down to $40. The cost savings of streamlined production alone would make up for the small increase in cost.

The rustlers are super tough trucks, They also included more than 150 dollars worth of upgrades. Nice Job on this one from Traxxas. Perfect basher for someone getting into the hobby. It already has all the mods to handle a skatepark bash like a champ.

a lil tip for ramp jumping, if you put a cone or something on either side of the ramp at the beginning, it is easier to try to steer your car between cones than it is trying to line up with the ramp

I know everybody just has to have 3S, but this thing sure seems to do just fine as shown. The $100 lower price is a BIG welcome. Those upgrades already installed are fantastic. The last thing they need to do is give you a lipo right off the bat.

Strong 32 pitch gears and heavy duty materials!? Now that is true Traxxas tough out of the Box. This great for kids too. Only thing that needs upgrading is the plastic shocks.

Damn they're ✂️ RPM parts right out of the mix from the get-go with these 🆕 trucks that's awesome that it's setup for a beginner like this... If you drive a 2wd get the tra6852A axles much better than stock but I don't think they're quite as good as the hoss axles tho! But they fit the stock parts (bearings) it's a direct replacement 💪🤷

So my thoughts over 20 years in the hobby- traxxas has traditionally sold their rtrs geared too high and new customers burn electronics up not knowing much better. What I would of loved to seen tested here is a typical 5000mah pack ran through how an average basher would drive it with a temp monitor on the motor and checked every 5-7 minutes as well as the outside ambient temp given at the beginning or end of the test. It looks like they made a pretty tough rtr here and might of actually geared it correctly and put the 2s limit there to help kids and new people not have a bad experience. None of the people reviewing the new lineup did anything close. Just a short overview of the new features and bashing vid. For the price range they’re at, if I’m right and they’re like I described, they got a winner of a product. Shame the slash isn’t an lcg but on all the rest heck yeah more power to em.

It looks and sounds like a brushed version, the fan in the motor should keep working cool, I kind of like the old school chassis , I have one of each but I need go through the diffs , the regular guy I bought when first came out and probably went through a couple chassis’s and I never sent it up in the air back than , nor went in diffs , my lcg is the rally. Well think about the vxl model if you want mroe for your money this will be out in september 15 $330.99 from traxxes but hobby shops definitely will mark it up the vxl goes down in price around 369.99 in some onlnie shops that give you mroe for the money better motor + 3s esc driver ssist system if you want to go fast also aouto rightint with a press of a button this have none of that. But i don't want to psuh you any direction but this jsut have less of a stuff and if you later want to upgrade your rc this needs mroe so in the end if you don't leave it factory the xvl is cheaper on the long run...

@@RcPlayer-tt2vw I've had all my VX3s systems for four years now and not a single issue with any of them. I have four trucks with those systems. These new 2s systems are perfect for beginners though. Not much speed but good power and more importantly better longevity then a brushed motor. But time will tell. There's still going to be people who run these through mud and water and don't maintain them afterwards or gear them way too tall and burn em up.

Armma stomps all over Traxxas. Normally with Traxxas you have to spend an additional $100 just to get basic features that would come with an Arrma. I mean even still, look at the linkages on this one, just a plastic piece.. non adjustable. Still need to buy and replace those. In the beginning Traxxas was affordable but not now and not at all worth the money. For me Armma. I have every popular brand and a lot of off brand rcs and as far a favorites Traxxas is towards the bottom of the list

I'm kinda stumped with this the vxl are out and it's not that old yet also this is at 329.99 starting price th hobby shops 1000% will mark up the price and the vxl now can be bought aronud 379.99 in some online hobby shops. So in the end there will be barely any difference in price and this is a lot slower also will be more expensive since it needs more stuff to be on the vxl level isn't it? Too bad they De-Tuned the car instead of making proper gears that don't strip. The car is good at going forwards. Braking and changing directions is extremely unresponsive. The ESC detects motion of the car and prevents you from locking the brakes up or changing directions until the car stops completely. I have a slight grade on my driveway, If I stop the car on it the car will roll backwards down the hill. It wont apply brakes enough to stop and it cant accelerate forwards b/c the ESC says the car is moving backwards. Traxxas support insists this is working as designed. Be careful near roads and cliffs! Your $300 car might just roll into the street or off a cliff and you have no control. Notice how none of these vids on YT of the rustler include it reversing or braking?? Just them holding down the throttle and doing circles? Its cause it sucks ass at everything else..

Why? You might not like Traxxas, but they aren’t bad products like a lot of people make them out to be. And a lot of the problems people have with their Traxxas rcs are usually down to unrealistic expectations, extreme abuse, and human error. You can’t tell me you expect a plastic toy to survive a 30 foot jump at 60mph, and don’t get mad when it breaks because you’re abusing it. The hate for Traxxas is unnecessary 🤦🏻‍♂️🙄🤷🏻‍♂️

Ehhh, I don't know. 2S is a waste of money. Fills a gap between the brushed and the 3S that didn't need to be filled.
