@@RoadRashTV I'll believe that we might get a scrambler when I see goldstars about and it's selling well... I would have been in the market for a BSA a year ago...now, almost certainly not.. I'm ok, I'm breathing....

Great looking bike. This was the bike I wished the Honda CL500 was.

I know right? If Honda or Yamaha ever made a bike like this it would sell like crazy.

The prodlem is if Honda had a go at making a real retro scrambler it wouldent look like this.
@RoadRashTV2 жыл бұрын
You are right though, it would sel like hotcakes
@johanchandy62382 жыл бұрын
@@giorgisyr1 Yeah if either Yamaha or Honda made one I would buy it instantly. I would be super happy with a retro XSR 500 tbh
@johanchandy62382 жыл бұрын
@@RoadRashTV I was hoping the Honda would at least look more like the earlier renderings of the CL500 that came out. Seemed to keep a lot of Honda's earlier design language and I would have been happy with that tbh. I think the design of the new CL500 could be salvaged with a different exhaust, excited to see what people will do with aftermarket parts

Scrambler looks fun, I would use on gravel roads and tracks in the back country (NZ) for sure.

I absolutely love this scrambler, but, seeing as it's taken well over a year, so far, for BSA to get the goldstar on sale, I won't be expecting to see a scrambler any time soon... as for scrambling, I'd fully want and expect a bike like this to do some mild green laning... I'd take it across an occasional field or gravel track.. my skill level wouldn't be up to anything else anyway....

Great looking bike. This is exactly the bike that Yamaha should've made with the "leaked" XSR300 some years ago but with with a new cross-plane 3-400cc engine. Instead they sat on their hands.

But will we ever see the Scrambler? I hope so. It is the single-cyliner engine I am attracted to. When I was a young man, I rode a Yamaha XT500. I rarely take my Yamaha SCR950 [an XT500 lookalike with what amounts to a Harley Sportster engine shoehorned in] off-road, but I have done. If I bought this BSA, I reckon I'd have the two most authentic scramblers in existence, because all scramblers were in the old days, were road bikes with slightly longer suspension travel. Slick video. I have subscribed. Nick J
