"Fake love" -This music video was filmed using actual stage equipment without computer graphics. Especially the scene where Jungkook runs down a collapsing hallway.

Actually there are graphics, but very minimal. Most is actually set, props and real effects.

There is no extra effect in this video. There is no CGI in this MV. It's all Real.

Fake Love belongs to the Bangtan Universe. so it's not that simple. Many Snickers are a reference to the fictional character J-Hope from the Bangtan Universe. As a child, his mother abandoned him at an amusement park, leaving only Snickers. All members have such references in the video.

The "Save Me" written on the wall near the end of the video is actually a song title of theirs. But if you look at it upside down it says "I'm Fine" which is ALSO a song title of theirs. The two songs are directly connected and start in the exact same way. It's very cool. Even cooler, the song I'm Fine would end up being released in their next album so no one had actually heard it yet.

Actually the Snickers refer to the BU when J Hope's mother abandoned him at the park after telling him to close his eyes and giving him a candy bar. So actually sad . . as noted by the fetal position he curls up in while laying on the candy bars.

I also had a thought about it referring to possibly eating disorders and addiction. I'm not sure, this is my own opinion, I know it is definitely what Judith said with the story line though.

Knowing BTS, I wouldn't be surprised if they had multiple meanings because they could have used any candy bar for this scene. They are always so multi layered, which is why I love them.

This is a RM centric song. He wrote the lyrics and PDogg is cooking on the production. It slaps hard and there is a rock cover version. The Snickers or Candy reference doesn’t have anything to do with the slogan. It has to do with Jhopes character in a fictional storyline which runs itself across many songs during this era. It’s called the BU or Bangtan Universe. It’s very complex but candy for deep level Army. You can enjoy the songs and videos without knowing but there will be references you may not get without exploring. Fantastic song.

This song is not just about a relationship between 2 people, its also the parasocial relationship between BTS and ARMY. They cant always be 100% honest about themselves, and fans often project their own fantasies onto the members (erase me and make me your doll). The part w/ Taehyung and the phones flashing is the constant social media bombardment they receive...millions of "I love you" messages, but is any of it real? There is a whole universe, the BU, that ties much of tbeir early work together into a storyline. Its not just videos, there are books, webtoons, even a game.

Thanks for your reaction! This song involves the BU. The BU is a whole other fictional story staring the members that runs through their mvs that does not involve the songs for the mv. Army was just as confused going into it but it helps to go in order. I guess it follows 7 friends as they grow up and they all face different experiences/traumas which are showcased in this video; RM living in a shipping container, Suga's depression and fire, Jimin and water, JHope and the circus room and candy bars (someone already explained this part of his story in the comments), Jin protecting the flower, V and the phonecall, JK looking in at the other members. I won't actually tell you the story in case you want to dive in. One of the cool things about BTS is that you can watch and enjoy the videos as you see them on the surface. But you can also always go deeper. The story itself has accompanying notes, videos and a webtoon. There is also a youtuber called xceleste who dives into the whole explanation. I never would have understood what was going on without her organization of all the dates and notes etc. Warning: it covers some darker themes.

O máximo de CGI que tem nesse vídeo é o fogo com o Suga que foi aumentado, mas isso foi por questões de segurança. Fake Love foi feito com efeitos práticos (Blood Sweet and Tears também)

I do appreciate their effort and performance for MV,but in my opinion I want to say their live performance is always better to watch the choreography and singing together .esp at award show performances.Also medley,Wembley,Osaka performances^^

This song and choreo is packed with so much meaning and subliminal messages, it's crazy. Starting with the clay statue behind them, see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil, which was portrayed throughout the choreography. But as Army has probably already said, the biggest message is it's part of the BU. Funny thought on the snickers lol, but no, it has to do with the storyline of the BU. Maybe one day you guys will venture down that 🐰🕳😂💜💜

Tem a versão extendida dessa música onde o MV foca um pouco mais em outras coisas com os meninos e é mais voltada ao rock ✨ No futuro se possível deem uma olhada em videos explicando o BU universe ☺️ é a história enredo que percorre os MVs (e outras coisas) dos meninos. I Need You, Run (2015), Epiphany, Blood Sweet and Tears (versão coreana e japonesa), Shadow entre outras fazem parte dessa história 💜
