I don't think anyone will care if it's fastest in the world or not, they're undoubtedly all sold out and are stunning pieces of engineering and design that no other carmaker has been able to match. Bugatti's are about being an insane exercise of what is technically possible while feeling like a nice luxury car at the same time.

No smell of burning octane, no wind blowing around your hair, no exhaust noise bouncing off of whatever you are driving by. You just get to experience the body if you don't drive it. The car just sits there, being an asset that nobody can afford. The same problem exists for lots of older muscle cars and JDM cars too. They made 243,000 1969 Camaros, selling them for just 5,000 dollars (37,000 in today's money), and yet NOW they sell for upwards of 100k. The 1st gen NSX doubled in value since its launch, because collectors hoard them.

Please stop comparing Hennessey F5 to real production cars that have numberplates, VIN numbers and crash testing..... The Hennessey F5 has none of that and is NOT a production car even if Hennessey likes to claim they do. Give me a break. Hennessey doesnt even have a single airbag. Its easy to pile on the speed and power when they dont have to follow the laws. It doesnt matter how fast cars go with kit-car numberplates. If they arent road legal production cars, then they cannot claim world records for production cars... And they are NOT road legal in any country. Including the US. Which is why they dont get proper numberplates.

Just like their previous car which was just a Lotus with a Corvette engine. They claim to sell Texas built, all american hypercars, but they are selling British built cars that were never designed to pass a crash test. Just like SSC Tuatara. Except that one is built in Italy. Its not "fake", or a scam... But it just isnt what they say it is. And their cars are not road legal in ANY country. Not even the US. Which is why you have to run them on show & Display number plates. No crash testing, no emissiosn certification, no health & safety, no federalisation, no airbags, no nothing.
