In the current game, you can actualy ride taxis, even when you're using a hand truck to transport boxes.

Holy Cow, this looks amazing and what I've been looking for in a business management life sim game (edit:) Just finished the video, and yeah 👍🏼 This is exactly what I've been looking for. One problem games like this have is depth. And I'm loving the detail this has. i.e. cleaning, stocking, taking loans, hours of op., Employee management, inventory management, eating, sleeping, having an appointment and ability to decorate 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I KNOW! I really want them to strongly consider a new camera view for this. I know the plan was for this top-down and kinda far out way... but damn I want that immersion. it will absolutely add a significant element to the experience of the game.

If you're curious, before the Internet and for a while after, you would place an ad in the classifieds section of the newspaper if you were hiring several people. If you just wanted one and lived in the city like in this game, you could just put a sign in the window.

Game looks great 👍 I think if they included taking taxis to far away destinations, and option to have furniture and appliances delivered by truck, that would be more realistic than running around with cart, especially if the distance is pretty far, but maybe it will be included

They should also show how much one product costed when you bought it. I mean right now you set the price, but you don't have the information in front of you how much you paid for it. And indeed, a system like the internet would be handy in this game, that one can just order in stuff and a truck will deliver it to your store. Looking forward to playing this game. The cost of products you buy on the shelf is presented. You do have to do a bit of math to determine price per unit, but the quantity of a box is there, and the price of the box. -- You can also set the sale prices of your goods that you are selling as well. -- Alpha 10 was just released, and I'm going to start recording that this weekend

Would be totally cool if you could like buy cars/trucks, or delivery vehicles. Also if you could have a family, and have entertainment things to do after work or before. Different careers like Startup company. If you could do the some of the jobs that game offered, kinda same feel of the work and grind, but see what your player does after and before work. Haha I’ll love that! Oh lastly! Be able to be a different race of person. Startup company only allowed one race, with just different hair color. This game is a dream for me! This could be a Sims killer! If only it had the true to life features added in for complexity! 😊 this has been in my wishlist on Steam for weeks!

There's a TON of stuff coming, and Alpha 10 even is adding a lot of stuff too. I plan to play this and update people as much as I can, as I'm testing and providing feedback. They are also watching these videos too - so that's helping to see how people play their game, and comments like yours help them see what people are looking for! :)

Dude, this game is supposed to simulate life in a big city right? having to actually walk 2 blocks to buy stuff is nothing weird, stop complaining about that part :D Except from that awesome video, can't wait for this game to be released or at least go into early access so we can play it too :)

Having to prepare food and do the dishes is real life too, but if they added it into this game I would express my opinions on that as well. Anything that weakens the gameplay experience, especially 'slowing down' the early game, is something I'll point out. I don't care if it's real life simulated or not

There's nothing political simulated or organized in the game, and likely not going to be. As far as city builder, well, you have interiors of your stores, and takeover of other businesses later - but no actual building from what I see planned.
