You can contact the Listing Agent directly, but understand that they will be representing the Seller and not you, unless they are acting as a Transaction Broker, in which case they do not legally represent either party. You will be representing yourself in that scenario ... just like choosing not to hire a lawyer when going to court, and representing yourself there. This may differ somewhat by State and local laws and customs.
