This definitely makes it the coolest combat art imo. Arts that require spirit emblems should all have special hidden properties like this to make them viable.

Good against sweeps and can perform the lightning reversal all for just 1 spirit emblem. It's up there as one of the best combat arts.

Tip: you can use Sakura Dance to do Lightning Reverse to boss without taking damage, it's very cool :)

You can use prostetic tools within it. You can deflect lightning with it. You avoid all ground attacks. It's just the perfect skill.

no there is no mention of a sweepcounter property, but maybe it works fine to dodge/style on sweeps

This is be more like how whirlwind slash dodges sweep attack. No bonus dmg but still counted as leaping so sweeping attack misses

Floating passage is best, stronger than spiral cloud and counters sweeps against purps plus does damage through the guard that prevents most counter attacks

Sakura dance is cool, but i underused it in NG+. Makes it seem like it was made for Lightning Reversal, and that the DC and Living Force Sakura Dance was useless.

I'm looking for a bit of advice; is a player of the first game in a series meant to be able to get more than one of the final Mushin skills in the first playthrough? Example being, Empowered Mortal Draw and Spiral Cloud Passage? Or are they supposed to go to NG+ to get the others? Using my example, I've ENTIRELY ignored Temple Arts.

i dont think you are meant to get them "naturally" because you lose level pgroress for dying alot and they suck up ALOT of level points, so yeah its more of a ng+ thing, but considering that there are different bosses for "both types" of endings you are supposed to ng+ anyway so it makes sense to progress further, i got all 4 endings and completed all skilltrees in playthrough 3

My advice is to deflect and follow up with thrust attack. Also whenever she jumps for anything but the grab attack, shuriken her. If she does grab attack, instead just press the dash button once as she's coming down and follow up with thrust attack. Umbrella, shuriken and flame vent is usually what I use if I use prosthetics. Combat arts, any is honestly fine. I personally used to use double ichimonji for punishing when in air. But recently I've been playing around with reverse nightjar slash and it's pretty decent with distance closing and baiting attacks.

I did all endings in 1 playthru by saving my 1st playthrough but when I played thru 1st playthrough I went and started a new character alongside my 1st playthrough so I could get everything still.working on both playthrough, beat the game but still on my 2nd guy the easy playthrough, I think you know what I mean
