They sent the same letter to me. The people I rent from had a tree down and I said my food was lost and some damage on my car from the trees. Thats all. They denied my car but I sent them proof of residence and they still denied me.

Prior to this hurricane season, I assessed my property for large trees that could damage my property or my neighbors property and had them removed. After the hurricane I had minor wind damage and no tree damage. I also have private insurance policies to cover my home from wind and flood damage. I doubt KHOU will do a story about my home. My repairs cost about $75.

FEMA may think a recreational vehicle is not a home. They claim to be living in a truck, why didn't they move the vehicle away from the flood and hurricane? They would have been relocated for only a few days with no damage to the RV.

The circled area says "eligible" it does not say "approved". There is a difference between being eligible for something and being approved for it. The maximum eligible value is $750. Will $750 solve these people's problems?

People's problems? Hell, the WHOLE AREA was affected but there was ZERO presence by FEMA whatsoever. They did not come and even hand out water! No, you had you fill out an online form (with no electricity} and wait for a postal letter to say yes or no some 2-3 weeks later.

Fema never helped me eather not for freeze nor barell i cant get past applications all times freeze i got in contact tru phone and mail this barell twice phone then at office in lemarque old strip mall bilding n put a papper app nothing .
