When you hit Puerto Rico you MUST check out Vieques Island and the bioluminescent bay there ( bahia de mosquito on the charts). I grew up in places with bioluminescent algae but this place is a whole new level- truly a transcendent experience to be caught out there in a rainshower!

I see that they followed protocol, using electric maceration, a dual tank purifying system and headed well offshore to discharge their system - Doing the right thing is critical in our Marine Parks 🤗⛵

It seems gross doesn’t it, but to be honest, I don’t think there’s a better way to dispose of it then heading offshore in open deep water, literally, to feed the fishes! Lol… It’s actually so great that Australia has protocols that we all abide by like having holding tanks, going offshore etc. In Europe charter boats don’t have them any older boats (even all over Australia) don’t usually have holding tanks either and they’re pooping day in day out in all the local waterways 🤮🤮 🤮

Nah there’s a bigger picture in all this. The only reason I got to see my family back home after 4yrs was only because of work, otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to even do that because all our money goes to rescues… This catamaran opportunity just popped up right before I was flying back. Next week I take the helm of this Catamaran then I fly back to Brittni and Jackson 😊
