it will be messy and as much as they claim its peelable, it will be nightmare cleaning it off of the little slots and grooves. this is nothing new, just look at plastidip removal videos

It depends on the thickness decided on as it can be made as thick or thin needed for requirements. I've personally seen this last for years with car usage ranging from general use, race abuse and withstanding thousands of miles. The peelable layer is basically a base that genuine oem base paint and then oem lacquer is applied to. Because its a genuine paint and lacquer thats applied you can treat it the same as normal even down to flatting machine polishing cleaning etc. The removal from what i have seen leaves zero residue behind unlike say vinyl which leaves adhesive stuck to the original paint even going to pulling lacquer off. Peelable paint literally peels off and leaves the original paintwork pristine without residue. The process is fascinating. They have a video on their Instagram page.

Personally i dont like the look of the black carbon. I love what you did with yours. Thinking its paint from a distance, then when you get up close, being able to see the weave. Would make for a good twin test as well considering the performance mods youve done.

Love the Ruby Stone. It's the Neodyme wheels that doesn't compliment the colour - together with Weissach pack which makes the already quit busy appearance even more mixed - IMHO, of course. But yes, the end result with the purple is just MEGA! Congrats!

What a great video and the journey that you took with the paint shop. The gentleman from the paint shop was GREAT. Just talking to him you get the confidence that he knows what he’s doing. It’s a weird one, just didn’t work on the GT4 shape at least, I saw a 992 GT3 in Monterey in the same colour and it looked great so perhaps it’s just the way light refracts off the GT4 contours 🤷🏻‍♂️
