Actually car engines are assembled afresh and there is no lubrication there in between the metallic moving parts. So the engine will initially have a more fuel consumption until the time the engines moving parts are properly lubricated. So a car needs to be driven atleast 2000 to 5000 km before this fuel efficiency is achieved. So this knowledge can also help people know why the starting mileage is less.

Ravi Ji Namaste! Maine Wagon R ZXI Amt li thi Sept 2019 mei. Tab yeh pehle pehle mileage barh ke 16 kmpl tak hi deti thi. Maine 15k km tak chalane ke bad bhi 16 kmpl hi maximum deti thi. Tab maine mera engine oil jo ki 0w16 Maruti ka oil tha use change karke Castrol Magnatec 0w20 grade ka full synthetic dalna start kiya. Maine coolant bhi badal kar gadi mei fresh coolant dala. Main normally har week ke bad mera air filter clean karta hoon, pehle bhi karta tha. Ab mera mileage pichle 2000 km se consistently 19.1-19.3 kmpl a raha hai. Dhanyawad.

Actually the best way to measure is to divide how many km you drove after refuel by how many litres of petrol you filled and then you will get your accurate fuel economy

बिल्कुल सहीं मेरी नयी टाटा टियेगो का मीटर अभी मैंने एक बार भी रिसेट नहीं किया है । अभी 20 दिनों में 600km चलाई है पर फिर भी ac में 26 का एवरेज निकाल रही है । पर आपका यह वीडियो देखने के बाद मैं भी मीटर को रिसेट करके मेरा पर्सनल ट्रिप का एवरेज निकलूंगा । हो सकता है वह 26km के एवरेज से भी ज्यादा निकले । वैसे गाड़ी चलाने के ढंग से भी एवरेज में बहुत फर्क पड़ता है । आपने बिल्कुल सही तरीके से ,सही समय पर गियर बदलते हुए कार चलाई है पर आपने साथ मे यह भी डिटेल में बताना था कि जिस तरह आप माइलोमीटर को देखते हुए गाड़ी चला रहे थे ,एक लिमिटेड स्पीड (70 से 80 के बीच)मेंटेन कर रहे थे ,rpm मीटर 2000 पर रखे थे और एक्सीलेटर पर भी आपका पैर पूरी तरह नियंत्रित ,कम दबाव के साथ था जिसकी वजह से आपको इतना अच्छा एवरेज मिला । कृपया एक नए वीडियो में इन बारीक चीजों को पूरी तरह एक्सप्लेन कीजिये ताकि जो लोग एवरेज नहीं निकाल पाते हैं वह इस वीडियो को देखकर सीखें , सभी को फायदा हो तथा देश के ईंधन की बचत हो ।

Turbo k range me chalao at light throttle. Turbo k range k pehle around 2000rpm k niche hum shift krdete hai usse hume lagta hai average milega lekin ye galat hai, under 2000rpm car jyada struggle karti h uske vajah se hum jyada race krte h fir fuel efficiency gir jaati hai. Thanks for your valuable information's. Based on ur details I hv purchased Tata Tigor XZ(O) Petrol Version. Just wanted to ask you few things. 1) When the engine is on then how to use ONLY AC blower. Because when I'm switching off the AC, everything turns off and the moment Im rotating the Blower nob the AC starts automatically. When the engine is off then only the blower is working without AC. 2) on the AC nob there are two buttons - AC and ECON, and another is AUTO & Off as per my knowledge Econ is for economical fuel mode. but How AC is different from Auto Mode 3) Im from Kolkata and in City mode with AC on I'm getting 12.5 KMPL in actual (MID-14+), is it the right millage that I can expect.

Just run your car on RPM 1500 and slowly slowly gain the speed.. not exceed the 70kmph... Then see the result.. if you cross 1500 RPM then it will effect your mileage

Mere sath bhi aisa hua tha. Baleno me Mathura vrindavan ka trip kiya tha Delhi se via Yamuna expressway. Par mileage 14.4 pr atak gya. Shuru me smjh nhi aya. But wapis aate time dimag me aya ki reset krke dekhte h. Reset kara, aur 10 minute me 21 tk mileage chale gya.

मेरी गाड़ी रीसेट करने पर 16-18 की एवरेज दिखाती है पर जहा 50-60 किमी चल जाती है फिर वो धीरे धीरे धीरे 12-13 किमी/ली मे आस पास रूक जाती है फिर चाहे नेशनल हाइवे पर चलालो। जिसकी शिकायत मैं कई बार शो रूम और टाटा मोटर्स को कई बार किया पर एक साल में कोई निर्णायक कदम नहीं लिया गया।

Ye bhi try kar k dekhta hu..ertiga petrol k sath..mere car service center 3bar lay k gai..avg problem k liye..uska avg 11show karte h.. kitne bhi pyar saybdrive karo.. but company's 17.5 claim karte h..mujhe max 14 ka hi diya.. woh bhi starting main..main drive 60-70par hi karta hu..but phir bhi avg nahi dete.. samaj nahi aata kya karu.. jab say car liye h.. car gear shift bahut hard h..pahele swift vxi model tha 2015 wala.. ertiga 2017 model h..gear shift bahut hard h..car 5000km drive kar chuka hu..

What do you mean by milage depends on car driving style. While I drive car I make sure I shift gear as per shown in meter. But still my car shows 10 or 9 kmpl milage in city. I have Tata Tiago petrol. Please suggest.
