I don't really bother about mileage if my car is on reserve i just fill full tank on it so that i dont have to keep on filling her up, as long as i can drive more than 300 km distance of city driving i'm cool with it. New engines need to be driven with love for at least 7000 km than after that u get a good gas mileage out of it, just like what rachit hirani said.

The company claim on 25 km milleage is also in a new car. If comparing apples with apples our new milleage in new car will be 12 ish. May become 16 later on. So it’s a big difference.

@@ashwin7491 so the altroz meter min is 8. When you go on drive with less traffic keep resetting all the trips so it recalculates avg. i drive in Bangalore traffic so for me is 8-9 but when i took it on highway it showed 18kmpl. Again in next few days in traffic it averged down to 9-10.
