Can’t wait to see it color matched. But I’d recommend this (I did it with my Seibin hood) Have the paint shop tape off the vent inserts, then paint the hood red. Then when they clear coat it, remove the tape so the two rectangular vent sections stays carbon. Would look insane

Looks like the car was in an accident and haven't had time to paint it yet. Carbon roofs or carbon mirrors look cool to me though.

As soon as you showed the hood, it was apparent why they went through what they did to package it. Just beautiful! With you car being red, it just pops out. As for the roof, I'm on the fence but I'd probably keep it on.

I’ll be taking my GR86 on my first ever track day this summer. I’ve been keeping my modifications to a minimum as it’s my first time owning a car worth modifying but so far I’ve got my driven media smoked overlays, imported to the UK 👌👌 I’ll be adding struts for the hood, and just upgrading the pads and brake fluid for a little less brake fade. Big plans for the future but plenty of time for that!

Got my roof wrapped in satin black and just installed a grimmspeed MAF hose and air filter - I know it’s not much but any power added is much appreciated. I’m looking to buy an exhaust soon, hopefully pair it with headers and a tune before I move to the Jackson racing radiator/cooler and Perrin oil separator. That carbon hood is definitely going on the list though 👀

I've got a Recaro Pole Position to install in my GR86. Thought for you too, leave the roof black and paint match the hood other then the vent, leave that exposed. If i ever decide a hoods in my budget, thats what id do!

I plan on doing some suspension to my 2018 WRX Ltd. I too have a CF hood and just took the roof wrap off so I’d recommend you do the same, it’ll draw more attention to the CF hood and make the car overall look cleaner.

I have a lot planned for this year with my 22' BRZ (Limited M/T in Magnetite Gray). Last year, I was able to install the TOM's rear-end options (diffuser, duckbill, and titanium quad-exit exhaust), and an airlift 3P management. These upcoming months, I have the rest of the TOM's exterior parts arriving including the widebody fenders. I also have an OEM GR86 front bumper assembly on order to complete the kit. I am truly excited for what's to come and I wish the best for all of you and your builds.

I’d say color match wrap leaving the vent carbon exposed. I have a drop in filter and rays lugs on order. Possibly sway bars front rear next 🙏🏼

Just got tires for my new 57CR’s. Mounting them today! Planning on wrapping the car a completely different color than the oem steel. Also planning on lowering it on FA 510’s and replacing most of the suspension components with GKTech and SPL parts

Hood looks great! I’m still contemplating what’s next for my GR86. I want to keep it as OEM+ as possible and not ruin what they got so right to start with. I added tail light overlays and window tint. I’d like to choose an exhaust system before the end of summer and possibly some suspension bits. First track day is scheduled for late June. Can’t wait!

First season doing autocross with my 2022 BRZ. Keeping it stock for street class but I've got Enkei RPF1 rims, and Faulken Azenis RS-651K+ tires. Probably swap out front sway bar soon for something stiffer, and do a cat back later this year.

Hi Kevin! I would love a driven. Hoodie! I have a 2018 BRZtS that I got in November bone stock with 20k miles. I've already added an Invisia N2 burnt titanium exhaust, a grimmspeed cold air intake, 1320 performance catless UEL headers and a tune with my Open Flash V2 tablet! I also did ceramic tint and a brow. It's an amazing improvement so far. Now Id like to do more aesthetic mods like an aeroflow aggressive diffuser, smoked side lenses, engine dress up kit and bolts, upgraded lugs and eventually wheels with a nice deep offset! Congrats on 35k followers!!

I recently just took delivery of my GR86 this past week at the age of 19 and I’ve enjoyed every mile of it so far! Your videos were a big inspiration for me getting this car ever since I started watching you install parts on the FRS, You’re like the spokesperson for the 86 community😂. Well It’s been a long 5 months but I can finally start working on my dream build now😎. I’ve even bought a whole detailing kit to keep my car clean and this summer I plan to install the AWE touring cat-back exhaust and get some window tint for the heat🥵.
