Smart customers are your best friend. this customer called because the sound of the unit changed, it was still cooling the space but wouldn't have for long. the belt was loose on the unit they called for but we also checked the second unit and caught a carrier rub out before it became a problem. someone else takes care of these units it would have been easy to tighten the belt, run, and badmouth the other guys, because they needed maintenance and that was someone else's job. Be better, this is about customer service, be honest and try harder.

@@EverythingHVACR You were talking about coils needing cleaning,on the double coils, you can take your magnehilic gauge and see the condition of the coil, and you can tell if the unit is running high head ,with out gauging up.

@MariosACandRefrigeration interesting, thanks, Mario. magnahelic is a good idea. My hands are perfectly calibrated magnahelic and temperature gauges 😆

I've been in this bizz for 40 years and never heard of using a "mag" for checking pressure differential or static pressure on a dirty condenser coil..... Boy, do I feel stupid!!!

I'm with you what the hell is a mag. The author of that comment said it means magnehelic first for me. Can't we make HVAC great again and stop with all the acronyms, people can't be that lazy.

@@MariosACandRefrigeration I used them before you were born, the point I'm making is it seems like everyone are using acronyms, or abbreviating everything.
