I have say that culture is a BIG part of why individuals do not seek support. Stigmas need to be removed and after that (as a mental health provider) services are available and access is not limited with the use of texting, zoom, groups, and in-person. We HAVE TO STOP STAYING IT IS A RACE ISSUE...I have all races in my groups. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy works no matter what the color of a person skin is. Listening is universal! Problem solving is universal. STOP MAKING THIS ABOUT RACE and start addressing why individuals are taking their life. Just my observation.

Please, please do not. I too am in a horrible spot at the moment. I am white, so i do not have the same issues as you do sometimes, but that won’t stop me from speaking out. I have had a large feeling of hopelessness, and you may be religious, maybe not, but the only thing keeping me from going insane is God. I just want you to know that you are not alone, and that there is at least one human out there that genuinely wants you on this Earth. It’s incredibly painful, and sometimes the light of hope is blotted out by the darkness of the human nature, but we must keep going. We must keep going because in the end, the light will outshine the dark of our own nature. Please don’t give up. We have our paths with no one to guide us in this horrible, yet beautiful world. The goal of life isn’t to have materialistic things, or try to reach other planets, the goal of life is death. Eventually, we will die, right? So that must mean that we have to enjoy what we have now before we die, and never return. Please don’t do that,because even if it’s just me that cares for you, that should be worth it.
