It’s either a very spooky coincidence, or we’re living in a simulation. I think it’s the latter lol 😉

Thank you for your great guidance! Finally, I was able to write a complete piece in the manner you taught. Here is my writing: "Dear manager, I'm writing in connection with the dissatisfaction I experienced with the service provided to me in your restaurant last week. My name is Nasim Sohrabi and I've been a loyal customer of your restaurant for about 5 years. Last Saturday my partner and I decided to celebrate our anniversary in your restaurant and I made the reservation in your restaurant on Bayview Street. The service was completely below my level of expectations and the food was served cold and when I asked for replacing they refused to do. I'm so disappointed with the service and I feel you need to be aware of this issue that happened to me because it may happen to others and people will not back to this place if their problem remains unsolved. Regarding what happened to me, I think I deserve a refund or at least on complimentary meal Your prompt response would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Nasim. "

Well done! Thanks for sharing your response! Here are a few comments to consider: - Use capitals to for all titles (e.g., Dear Manager; Dear Director) - For your opening paragraph, rely on established collocations (e.g., “I’m writing to express my dissatisfaction with…”). - Use a comma between two clauses (e.g., “My name is John Doe,* and I…”). - Use a comma after all initial adverbs (e.g., “Last Saturday,* my partner and I…”). - Use noun forms instead of gerunds whenever possible (e.g., “…when I asked for a replacement* vs. “…when I asked for replacing…”). - Check your verbs. Say: “…people will not come back* to this place…” - Check your punctuation and make sure there is always a full-stop marking the end of your sentences. Keep up the great work! 👏

Hey Sam, For paragraph Function 2, to ensure a clear transition, can I write something along the lines of - "As far as location goes, I last saw my back pack under seat 22B in wagon 7..... "?
@fasttrackesl4 ай бұрын
Good question. Don’t make your transition phrases too wordy/formal and make sure they match the context. In this case, say: “As for the location, I believe I last saw my backpack stored under Seat 22B…”

I'm practicing writing by watching your video. It's very helpful. I'm just wondering what score this writing would get?

Hi sir Could you upload more Reading test so we we get some practice before real exam

Actually this is like building with Legos, you start with the foundations and walls. Later, you move on to add more details and embellishments.
@fasttrackesl Жыл бұрын
Well done. That’s exactly how you should be approaching these tasks. Make sure the structure is firmly set in place (to ensure task achievement and coherence), then focus on the supporting details and linguistic accuracy.

Hello How to access your reading masterclass? Which bundle would be helpful to improve my reading score? I am already getting 8 but I need 9+ in reading. Please guide.

Hi there, Thanks for your interest. As of this writing, the “Speaking + Writing” membership bundle includes access to all videos listed in the catalogue (including walkthroughs for all four sections of the reading test). I hope this answers your question. Happy learning!

Dear M.B.D Mall Manager, I hope you have a productive week. I am reaching out to you regarding the recent concern of not having enough space to park my Corvette in your Mall's parking spot. I live outskirts of the city, and I am a working husband. To begin with, it takes approximately 1 hour to commute to your prestige Mall in the town, and as a father, I do not have extra time to do shopping after work. Additionally, I have decided now to come on weekends to your mall for shopping grocery and spend some quality time with my family. Although we are fortunate to have this mall with a plethora of amenities, but we are not able to park our own car in the parking lot. However, we take a ride on uber to your mall every Sunday, which has also added extra expense to our budget. To be honest, I have some suggestions for your management team, which is to charge fees to visitors who stay longer hours in the mall and this would automatically limit the cars, and allow families to enjoy themselves with their loved ones. Yours Sincerely, Adam

Is it fine if I use " I'm " instead of " I am " ?
@fasttrackesl9 ай бұрын
Great question, Member. You see, it’s all about balance. Yes, using contractions (e.g., “I’m” or “It’s”) does indeed make your writing sound more “spoken” (and this informal), but as long as your overall writing sounds appropriate for the target situation, it’s completely ok to have some contractions here and there. If you’re unsure whether or not to use it and want to sound formal, avoid them; but if your English is good enough to be able to strike a balance, use at your discretion. Hope this helps!

NEED A CHECK PLEASE Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing this to report a personal item that I lost while travelling on RBC train. My name is Bravo and I was travelling on train from Toronto to Ottawa on 27 august. Won reaching home I noticed that I don’t have my laptop bag with me which I mistakenly left in the train. Allow me to describe the bag was brown colour with Tumi badge on top and also had a tag on it with my initials BSG and my address. I remember keeping my bag in the overhead luggage area just next to my seat as mine was already full. My seat number was wz-27. If theres any information of a bag found reported on please let me know and provide with the process to get the bag back. Thank you for your cooperation. Regards Bravo

Hi there, Please leave your responses section-by-section (e.g., introduction; topic sentence; conclusion, etc.) under the relevant video lessons. This is better because: - It’s easier to review smaller segments of writing in the comments section. - Others can read samples from each part of the writing and review the feedback provided. Looking forward to reviewing your work! Happy learning!
