I understand Brandon coming at the 675SS from a racing perspective given his background, but honestly the amount of people who race their sport bike of any displacement (even for the "true" race style bikes vs the track day bro bike as Yam calls it) is a fraction of a fraction of a percent of owners. 99% of people dont care if a bike makes sense in a racing category, they just want it to be a fun street bike.

I dont agree with the statement of "too many bikes and engines will confuse new riders. I think lots of middleweight options are great, if a new rider wants the inline 4 sound, they dont have to jump on a ludicrous 600 as their first bike and go kill themselves. give us from 30hp to 200hp and everything in between

When Triumph was making the 675 motor, they were putting 110-115hp to the ground with a slipon and tune, typically. But it packed more midrange and more Tq across the entire rev range... So for a streetbike and occasional track day toy, its a great option...

It malfunctions causing the gear indicator to not report the correct gear position. This causes the cruise control to cancel if you set it. It’s a minor annoyance but I do wish that I could use the cruise control.

I’ve got the 700 clx sport and it’s pretty awesome. Already wanting more power though so I will probably wait to sell it until they release their liter bike. It looks awesome.

Have you ordered parts for a CF Moto? It's a f-in joke. Pay your money in advance, wait 2 to 6 months, often never. Deal with people that sell RV's not motorcycles. Get jerked around over and over. Eventually you will never get your parts and you will lose your money. In my case $987. F-that China crap.

i agree with you, even in Philippines. 125 cc honda are built with cheap parts like poor disposable rim and cheap dual shock at cheap 2010 analog panel for a high price. thats why i turn to china bike which is cheap price but the parts being use is from a big bike. a cheaply built big 4 is a garbage to me. i am still using a year 2012 china bike, engine still sound like brandnew.

I'm still loving my CF Moto IBEX 800 T after 1600 miles! Bought it in August and have taken it camping and off road several times. My only mod has been 50/50 tires.

For me with a full A licence but tiny legs! The more powerful smaller bikes are perfect. I am the target audience for the ZX-4RR. It fits my size but doesnt smack me into the A2 licence bucket. (In the UK the 4RR is 75hp stock). So now the CFMoto 500 if the seat height is 800mm its a really nice option for me. (Yes I could ride a bigger bike but I dont really want to been 1 footing it all the time)

@@Illness.og. Dude, 4rr has a seat height of 800mm, z900 has a seat height of 820mm. 2 cm difference, and you can easily lower it with a custom seat.

I went back from a 1000cc fireblade to the new zx4rr, when i was younger it was all about having a big bike,(im now mid 30's) but on the streets it can become boring when you just wanna let the bike rip but in doing that you are instantly losing your license and face court. The 400cc is a compromise between power and still being able to ride the wheels off it and letting that motor sing. Im having the most fun on this bike than I've had in years, not everyone wants to roll race on the freeway

There's a reason ppl say "it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast, than to ride a fast bike slow", but ultimately it comes to you and your relationship with the throttle. Z900 is a really nimble bike in the city. I own one. Anyway, he was talking about seat height. I based my comment solely on that.

I learned the hard way why riding pants are important. I had my first bike (2013 Bonneville, loved it) for 3 months, i overcooked it on an off ramp, and half my ass and hip turned into ground beef. This was WITH thick jeans, doesnt matter lol

I got some foam one-use kind of earplugs, and it's true, either they are not deep enough or too deep. most of the time not deep enough, I have to take the helmet off fix them, put it on and so on. and when wearing the helmet it like squishes my ears and the earplugs move, so I have to put them deeper in

How many miles have you put on the 450ss? How do you like it? I wasn’t a fan when I sat on one the other day. The knee area tight on tank felt plasticy and dinky. The Visuals are great but wasn’t impressed with feel or materials. Convince me to get one. Lol. I checked out the ibex 800. Now that looks cool. Lol

In Australia, all new bikes made after 2019 need to have ABS otherwise they cannot be road registered, so yes that means alot of duel sport bikes that are equipped from factory with mirrors and turn signals from factory cannot be road registered. Duel Sport and Adventure bikes that have ABS, which can be switched off, can be registered. The only exception are small bikes under 150cc that have a linked rear and front brake system (rear bake automatically applies a small amount of front brakes). This is the case for the Benelli TNT 125. Given that Australia and possibly other countries are doing this it's best that CFMOTO just make ABS standard on all models. Also in Australia, a helmet is a mandatory legal requirement, unlike America, where it depends on what state you're in

Kawasaki has an inline 4 400cc (399 technically) with the zx4 rr. I can definitely see a 500 being the next evolution

Whether you like cfmoto or not you gotta like what they are doing for the motorcycle industry and bike designs and costs. They are forcing the big 4 to change or lose out on sales. The 450ss beats the ninja in power and speed and definitely in technology. All their bikes are loaded with higher tech stuff then their competitors.

My bet is the i-4 500 is still going to be cheaper than the ZX4RR. I think it's a missed opportunity for Kawi to not offer a stripped down ZX4R variant (in the US).

The ZX4rr feels like a stripped down model already... no suspension adjustment, kawi brand brakes, rubber lines. Don't think it has a quick shifter either? Could be wrong. Price on it is nuts for the features.

The "purpose" of a bike to the masses is for rideability. The majority of the sport bike market are just young kids who just want to go fast. You see that they can't afford the R1 as an example; that's sadly a big big issue with the whole scene. Brands NEED to find new clients to sell products to, as customers want comfort, style, tech, safety, and sound. Not everyone wants bikes that rev 16k and push 170mph. Most people would argue that they want something which pushes 130 high end while having comfortable riding posture, while having a stylish design.

yes, my dream bike would be 1500-1650cc VR3 it would be 500-550cc per cylinder eg. Horex VR6 (1218cc six-cylinder narrow-V motor) from Germany my VR6 engine won't be 1200cc . . . rather, a 3L VR6 . . . but for a car, not bike

You guys think about bikes with your hearts. The manufactures think about bikes with their pockets. I want a Daytona 675. They stopped making them. A 2015 costs $10,000. I bet the CFMoto 675 will be less than 10k with warranty, with all the bells and whistles AND brand new…vs a 10 year old bike for $10k. They’re making g bikes to sell bikes. That’s not really that hard to understand. 😂

To the cohost talking about too many choices for beginners...GIVE US OPTIONS! I hate 180degree twins...they sound TERRIBLE. 450SS has that 270degree crank and it sounds GREAT! Also not having to rev your engine to the moon to get usable power is pretty damn handy in traffic. Most people that own sports bikes, don't race them. Especially beginners on lower displacement bikes.

As a truck driver and a rider is extremely difficult for me to watch riders when I’m in the Florida area. Most of them have zero gear shorts, tank tops flip-flops sunglasses that’s it!

"I dont understand why they would create that" Americans really struggle to understand that there's other people buying bikes around the world. 500cc inline-4 developing probably 80-90hp is perfect for Europe laws, yes Europe, you know the place with 750M people in it, and a bigger proportion of bikers than the US.
