This is excellent! I would love to take a class. (If the possibility of branching out in that direction should happen) I highly recommend a visit to Colorado!

Congrat's on your new endeavors. Have learned a lot of techniques and skills from watching your videos over these past month and know the new ones will be great. Glad to see you are writing the book. What next, the movie/musical or the world tour?

Brilliant series. Keep up the great work. It's fascinating how beautiful the finished products always become. But one bit of confusion has crept in. Every technique works perfectly but there is never an explanation of why a specific technique is used on any particular piece. Or why not? How do you decide. For some you use stripper, others sanding, still others soap and water, or burning meths, or lacquer thinner. For finishing, sometimes it's French Polish, others it's wax with oil, or shellac, sometimes just boiled linseed oil. Great results always, but without the why and when, not much real help to those who need it most.. I hope you can respond but it may take an entirely new video.

You are helping me restore a victorian mahogany wind out table which is naturally a light brown wood but every time I put some oil on it goes a reddish colour. What oil should I use? at the moment its linseed..........Well Done with all your work, couldn't do it without your help............Mike

Hi, I've dabled in french polishing in the past but have got a few clocks and aprentice cabinets that could do with a high quality finish. but find the french polish dries very fast to have even, fluid movement for a good finish. Is there a oil or aditive i can use. Regards,Mark
