Lovely to be up and about early in the morning to see the Blues exercising their horses!! Thankyou so much for filming them. As for everyone else- - - - their usual dignified, elegant, beautiful selves. Your sound, as always, perfect. Thank you Mr. Baton. Loved it. Greatly appreciated when one lives too far away!!

Thank you for such an interesting and enjoyable video - not just the music but catching the Blues & Royals from Horse Guards exercising their horses early in the morning before they start guard duty at Horse Guards for the day. I always think the Gurkhas have so much precision in their drill, more so than most regiments. Greetings from the tiny town of York, Western Australia.

Great video MrB! Lots of points of interest shown and all filmed with that steady hand of yours. Speaking of the steady hand, how is your shoulder now? I hope the colder weather is not adversely affecting it! Some unfamiliar (to me that is) marches here, particularly from Band & Bugles of the Rifles, along with the more familiar played by the Band of the Grenadier Guards. Senior Drum Major adding the extras with his customary aplomb, each and every signal timed to perfection. Thank you yet again MrB for letting us see these events from afar👍

I suspect it's Rose-ringed Parakeets you heard. They are not indigenous to Britain but are thriving in various parts, particularly London.

When they are getting inspected before the Guard Change they take out their Kukri, which is a knife that Gurkhas carry, and show it for inspection, but for practices like this they do not carry the knife so they imitate the act of doing it. Hope this makes sense.
