Mine a 2015 650i GC (F06), and I love it. My knees really felt it when I first sat in it, considering how low it sits to the ground. lol Its rarity is a two-edged sword: great that it's unique, but not much aftermarket support or options. Still, it's a beautiful design that holds up even in 2023. Visually, if there's one design BMW got right, it's the face-lifted 6 Series (IMHO). I hope you enjoy yours for years to come, and I hope you'll consider adding options from the M Sport package (bumpers, side skirts, rims, steering, chrome delete, etc.). Thanks for watching and nice to hear from a fellow 6er :D Totally agree about everything including the rarity thing. Slowly but surely we’ll make it look how it should! Already got a few M Sport goodies on it which I’ve shown on my previous videos… it’s going to get some engine and drivetrain maintenance next and once that’s addressed I’d like to get an m sport bumper with a lip, lower it just a bit and put some forged OE f80 M3 fitment wheels to give it a nice stance! You should post your car so that I have some inspiration:)

So far so good! Nothing major to really complain about. She’s sitting at 118k kms now, never left me stranded and hasn’t developed any new issues since I started driving it. It must be said that I have been super religious with the maintenance and am always making improvements to it to keep it running right… if you want one of these cars to not bite you in the ass like the horror stories would have you believe you gotta spend some time under the hood checking and repairing things preventatively, it’s a part time job! But it keeps me happy

@@dariusGarage im so happy for you and i hope it continues like that. Thank you for your reply. Im looking a 2014 with the n63TU with just 33k km. Can you drop your maintenance routine , how often ( time or miles ) you change stuff in the car. I know the bmw recommend one is not the way to go.

@@kevinm6439 yes 100% you don’t want to do things the way the dealer say to. Oil is the most crucial thing to keeping any engine alive. These cars torture their oil as they run hot. First thing you should do with your car is change the thermostat to a lower temp version, this will alleviate a vast majority of the issues these engines have (video coming fairly soon). If you drive the car and step on it from time to time I’d suggest you change the oil every 5000 kms with 5w40 in the summer and 0w40 in winter. If summer/winter comes before you’re finished the 5000 switch it to the proper viscosity anyways. Every 100’000 get the oil pump chain tightened, they don’t have a built in tensioner and need occasional adjustments. Keep oil topped up if it burns oil! Change transmission, front differential and transfer case fluids every 70k kms. Brake fluid every 2 years. Make sure proper blue coolant is in the system. Make sure the wheels are not bent and don’t cheap out on tires! Always buy 4 matching star rated tires even if 2 are still good. If you want to do away with star rated tires you may need to run an alternate size to have the proper overall diameter front and rear. Check your rear diff bushings and guibos every few months.

I love my F13. Only draw back is the fake sunroof but it’s a fun car.

I, too, felt a little let down when I discovered that the sunroof doesn't open. But I was OK with it when I learned that there's no room for it because of the slope of the rear. Oh well! I still love it! :)

Haha, it’s only a tilt sunroof! I took one apart to confirm that it’s not broken and yes, it’s only intended to tilt upwards! I’ll make a video some day when I retrofit an alcantara headliner to my car (sunroof needs to be removed)

@@dariusGarage I have the grand coupe can’t believe the car was worth 110 and $150,000 and now is only worth 20 crazy how the world is. It seems like a supercar it feels like a $50,000 car still luckily, the price of maintenance has gone down on them.
