All the elemental weapons added from Fireball to Icicle are superb and very much necessary. There were too few solid and good RAW elemental options that werent just " weapons with aoe/dot."

One thing I wanted to point out which I don’t think has come up in your videos just yet- There’s a sick nasty two item combo. The item that makes it so an enemy takes 10% more damage for however many seconds after first being struck with elemental damage. I know you brought up Sacred Sausage as a good option to combo it with, but apparently the Frozen Heart item also is god tier for that combo- even more so because you don’t need to proc a burn and then have it tick first to get the bonus damage. It’s the item that adds elemental scaling to all your weapons and causes burning to happen 50% slower. Didn’t think about it at all at first, but that elemental scaling causes ANY item to apply the 10% increase in damage since it now scales with elemental damage. No proc chance necessary! Haven’t tested it out with 0 or negative elemental damage stat, however, as the item gives you a free 8 elemental damage as well. I’d be curious to see if it only works if you’re actually gaining some scaling from the elemental damage stat or if it just always considers the weapon to deal elemental damage regardless.

Having played this character, I’m not 100% sure on the best way to play them which is good! I started off with mines cuz I figured explosions or something might have some synergy. Ended up dying to the bosses because the mines kinda suck at clearing elites/bosses and I was too stubborn to just run away for 90 seconds. Tried turrets and I felt like that was fine-ish but I might have simply not gotten the items I needed to make them pop off. I haven’t tried leaning into the elemental weapon side of things, but that might be more interesting.

I went full elemental and bought any extra turrets or mines from the shop. Felt pretty strong!

I beat this guy on lvl 5, but my run didn't have nearly any of the exciting items you got. It just felt like a challenge run with the item cost penalty. I should retry with some other builds. All the new characters wins felt rough probably bc I haven't played in a year and have to take more defensive stuff bc I get hit more often than I used to.
