I think the new powder looks great on you! It did brighten, and you had less shadowing than the other side. I don’t know what the glitter comments are about as I don’t see any, but I think it looks great. I understand if you don’t like it. Great review as always. There's such a difference between the new brightening powder vs regular. I prefer the look of the regular on you. I immediately noticed the brightening side and imo it made you look tired and the minimum lines you have more pronounced. You always look beautiful, I'm just focusing on the product. ❤

I am not even a concealer person but was surprised with this one. Got good coverage, only little creasing , stayed on didn’t disappear in places. Looked natural too. Better than HUDA beauty faux filter concealer for me.

I love the brightening side more on you. I actually just recieved the brightening powder in fair/medium and I love it and I'm a darker tan complexion. I checekd it out under different lighting and I think it looks really amazing!! Perhaps because I am more of a neutral undertone? Also when I buy highlighters and blushes I prefer cool tones as well. Also, I was really surprised by the sllight glow without sparkles or shimmer. I wasn;t interested in the concealer until watching your review though.. so I think I might add that to my shopping cart. I always have issues with concealers for the same reasons that you mentioned.. either too dry or too much hydration.

I disagree. I think the original powder looks a lot better on her complexion then the new translucent powder. It’s just too bright and ages her a little bit. The other side looks so much more natural.

I totally agree with you. I like the regular powder also. The new one is just to white and luminous. The original powder is one of the best. Great review 😊 I’m still hesitant about the concealer. I received my Charlotte Tilbury concealer and the powder. I love it!! I have combo skin and I live in south Florida. Great question 💕 I would say they are similar. The CT is a little more hydrating, the UCST is more of a Satin finish. They are very similar though. Especially how they wear and last throughout the day. Both great Concealers 😁❤️

I am really enjoying the concealer so far. Today is the second day I’ve used it but it just looks so nice. And yes on all the tips for maturing eyes. I’m 35 and about 6 months before turning 35 my under eyes decided to act like they were older lol less is more for sure and I have to very lightly powder. Ive tried not powdering but I’m not quite there yet. As far as the powder it’s nice, but I don’t feel it was really necessary, sadly CT powders don’t work as well as they once did under my eyes anymore 😩 I’m so sad but it does wonders for me as a finishing powder. Thanks for the great review as always Tara. You always look so timeless.

I bought shade 4, because that's what the shade match tool on Charlotte's website recommended. It will be okay for the dead of winter, but it's a bit too light for me right now (I don't like a lighter concealer shade -- I prefer to match it to my skin tone). As far as formula goes, I really like it. My holy grail concealer is Armani's Luminous Silk Concealer. Once I get the correct shade in the CT, it might give my Armani some competition. I personally had to set mine (very, very lightly), otherwise the creasing was almost instant. I do think the shimmer particles help camouflage my dark circles a bit more than other formulas. I just ordered this today but am not sure about the shade that I ordered- *if it will be too light or ? I’m a light/medium complexion with olive undertones and green eyes- I ordered shade 3- I’m afraid it might be too light. I agree with you, when you get older, too light under the eye is really aging… so I guess I’ll find out when I get it! I prefer the natural powder of her under your one eye as opposed to the white powder.. you know you skin/tone/what look good, etc… PS: I hated the TF concealer, too! Oh shute - I was hoping you would review the darker shade of the powder. I purchased the white powder last week and already gave it away, its waaaaaay to white for my light to medium skin and makes me look like a ghost no mater how lightly I put it on. So I have ordered the darker shade. I am curious if that shade also have the same irridescent sheen to it as the white powder. I love the concealer, but I was extremely surprised that it has glitter in it - I have not seen anyone mention the glitter particles and I have never had a concealer with glitter in it before. It looks nice, but in direct sunlight you can really see the glitter, so thats a little weird. But it does not crease at all on me, even not set with powder at all, and thats fantastic!

Great advice on this video. I usually color correct with a peach color with a VERY thin layer. After that I apply a thin layer of concealer that is about 1 shade lighter than my foundation. I do set with a thin layer of powder (yellow powder in Jaclyn Hill’s face compact)Mel Thompson recommendation.
