Thanks for the review! I actually got sent this a couple of weeks ago - I entered the pre-launch competition for review and it just turned up! I'm really enjoying it so far in terms of consistency, it does crease on me a bit more than PMG/Kosas which are my go-to concealers, but I find it very easy to pat back out and touch up when this happens. The wear time was also great. I agree that the shades run pretty light, I use 2W in her Beautiful Skin foundation and they sent me the shade 2.5 Fair to test. I find this it quite a lot lighter than the foundations in the 2 range and it's definitely not warm, but I can make it work and they interact nicely together. I'm waiting for the launch to see if I can get a better shade. Minor gripe in that I'm not a huge fan of the tiny doe foot, it doesn't pick up much product at all, but overall it's so much better than her last concealer!

Hi! I am 2W of her Beautiful skin foundation too and before I saw your comment I thought that it would match with the 2.5 . The model in the picture seemed to be the same as well (it was probably stupid to assume that the shade would be right based off this but can you blame me? haha). Do you think it is VERY different as a shade? Could it be because this concealer is supposed to have a lifting effect and it is lighter for that reason?

@@chiara2000dc Hi, I've just swatched them again side by side and it is definitely lighter, but less than I had thought when applying to my face! It oxidises a little, but gives quite a luminous finish. I think the thing that makes it stand out the most against the foundation is that it's just so pink leaning by comparison - I don't really see where the 'yellow' undertone they're talking about is in there. It was one of those I pulled out of the box, and the colour inside the tube immediately gave me pause! It definitely does work, I think because it's more medium coverage, but I was disappointed in the shade overall. I''ve looked online at the other shades now and I think I need to see some non-promo images to see if any others might work as the next 'yellow' undertone is not until 5. If it helps, my go-to concealer shades in PMG are L3 / Kosas 02W and it's pretty far from those. I might have better luck with the CT 2.5 in the winter I suspect.

This summer I wore (since many years;), wearing almost just cream products, no foundation, no it cosmetics CC Cream & Co; juicy ckeeks and a beautiful, blurring, mattifying powder at the t zone, it looks so flawless and obviously in the most natural way, with a proper and appropriate skin care routine and maybe a pore minimizing, blurring primer in the t zone, I love it, without a good skin, no base will look at its best....

The way CT website describes the new powder it seems different than her 1st original. I would have loved to seen the new powder to set ur concealer and how that would be. Since the new powder says brighten and blur powder.

Thumbs up 👍 for being the first on KZbin to review this concealer. I'm impressed with the size. There's certainly a generous amount in them compared to the previous two concealers. I'm 3N in the Beautiful Skin so will probably go for that it or a shade lighter. Glad that's it's not full coverage as well 😏.

I pair this with the Nars light reflecting foundation. its really nice under the eyes, it's definitely not heavy duty but it's perfect for under the eyes, I wouldn't use it to conceal spots or anything like that though!

I'm not keen on luminous concealers, just like anything else with a luminosity, they emphasise my crinkles!! So, I'll be sticking to my Huda and PM (and a few others) concealers. Thanks for the quick turnaround! I'm so glad Charlotte brought out a new concealer. I do like a radiant concealer, so this is something I may check out in the future. Looks like 6.5 could work for me (thanks for swatches!) That said, I want to see more reviews and comparisons, including the Kosas concealer. I also would love to see this over a corrector, since that is likely how I would use it.

When the CT consultant applied the 'old' concealer on me in John Lewis, she ran away - literally! I dug down for my handbag mirror and understood why. Awful, dry, patchy just terrible. I have normal /combo skin and tbh has put me off trying another concealer from the brand but I think you have restored my faith... A little 🤔

This concealer looks much better than the old one which was kind of rubbish, but I will be giving this concealer a pass, as I only use super full coverage concealers like the Pat McGrath and ABH magic concealer, so this doesn't seem like it would be enough for me. I do like the new powder, I prefer translucent powders so that's something I will consider once I finish my Givenchy one

I finally got a chance to get swatched on my birthday, at London Selfridges… The Asian chick was pure brilliance, she took one single glance as I looked over the display swatching in bewilderment & said “3 in Winter will be perfect for Winter, you’ll be 4 in Summer, but it will be a bit yellow on you”. She was in a hurry, so I waited a bit for her to come back. She was being comprehensive serving someone else, so I didn’t mind. Sh3 had just given me an instant perfect read while selecting for the other client. . …& waited …& waited …& the indolent Other counter chicks were super wrapped up in chatting with themselves. Finally, the Kiehl’s counter chick got irritated & told one of them to pull up anchor & get on with it. Wow, that CT counter Blonde was catty!I was prepared to empty my wallet with CT based on 2 years of your endorsements, alone. I ended up getting a 3 in prefect base. No blush, no powder, no concealer. Nothing else. She was sooooo catty about my face. Holy shit I’m 55 & survived cancer. There was no call for that negging to push product. Sweetness would have emptied my purse. I was so hurt by the whole thing, I just fucking left. No snooping about the new counters, no pick out a Mothership. She totally made me feel like crap. I blew off the whole thing, went back to the hotel & got ready & went to see Fra Fee & (I think she was filling in early? It didn’t look like Lennox) Madeline Brewer @ the Kit Kat Club. I have to be honest Charlotte Tillbury’s one Staff was divine, the other one put a pall on a banner birthday that was only countered by a brilliant immersive stage production & copious G&T. If I was in Vienna or Canada, I would have told the bitchy one off for taking out her miserable on an enthusiastic customer.

I’m so sorry to hear you had that experience. Once you get to be our age and survive cancer, makeup is one of the few things that can make you feel like yourself again. We need a boost not criticism. When the lady at the Tom Ford counter saw me attempting to cover my radiation scars with the Shade & Illuminate, she ran over to give me a free small jar of La Mer cream and attested to how it worked so well on her clients who had radiation burns like the ones on my face. I knew how much that jar was worth and her kindness almost made my cry. (You know the emotions and vulnerability, it’s such a process) Her gesture made my day. I hope to go back and find her to thank her again. I hope you won’t let one bad seed ruin it for you and that you will give CT another chance at a different location. So when I was looking at the shade range I immediately wrote this one off because I'm light/medium with a pink undertone and there's nothing in the entire range below "fair" with a pink undertone, but seeing 6.5 compared to the PM 9 (which I don't find pink enough) it does look pinker despite being a peach. Probably still not quite right, but I appreciate the swatches and may try to check it out in a store sometime.

BEWARE! Got this concealer for myself very unhappy with, it has glitter in it and that's a big no no for me. Everything else about the formula is nice but i can't see myself ever using it in future. If you like glitter in concealer you will most likely enjoy it.
