Each to his own my guy. It's essentially a semi auto rifle like you mentioned. And I don't use those anymore. The recoil however is much less when using a dot sight.

It only took dice like two years to put a weapon that was already in the game into multiplayer. Side note has anyone noticed that when your guy is holding it in the loadout screen the pistol grip and the forward grip is not connected to the gun and is floating?

Chauchat is a 3-5 BTK rather than the usual 4-7 BTK the LMG/MMGs have.

Rate of fire is a little too slow for my liking. Found myself losing exchanges that I normally wouldn’t, and I think the rate of fire was why. Might need to give it another go, though.
