great to hear how they compare from an owner of both Tesla and a Chinese brand, safety and reliability are probably 2 questions most people ask. Software is a big factor also

I think at this stage in terms of ease of use, Tesla is still No. 1 but the rest are catching up ...

I was so excited for the Xpeng G6 but I didn’t order one because I knew it was going to take weeks to months for the car to be ready - I ended up buying a 2023 Tesla Model Y with low km’s. Tesla has been my dream car for the past 10 years but if i wasn’t so desperately in need of a vehicle, I would have totally waited for the Xpeng! Maybe in 10 more years I’ll make the switch My biggest issue right now with Tesla is that the car doesn’t even come with a granny charger! That was pretty disappointing

haters will still hate anything Chinese no matter what.... it's their mental issue, nothing to do with the products or using facts to convince them otherwise... just let them keep their hate and move on...

The thing with Chinese products is that some quality items/materials are copied and sold cheaply, which ends up giving the whole industry a bad name. iPhones are sold in the hundreds of millions, which are high quality products, which shows they do produce quality items. Cars sold outside of China has to meet safety requirements of the country they are sold in, poor performance means they can lose sales or worse be banned from selling. Xpeng is pretty much copying Tesla and wants to top them, their test I expect to be good, as well as Zeekr, which is pretty much a Volvo, it was designed in Sweden and uses Volvo's platform. Leapmotor has been touting their build process and expected 5 star, which they have nos achieved, good for them.
