6:35 correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that shape is for aerodynamic correction purposes and not aesthetics. And my guess is that they did it on the lights, because it's less noticeable, hard to see it, other cars have it on the body.

Dear Thomas, I own a C4 and am interested in buying a DS4. About the strange warning sound; you can choose 4 different sound themes, from classic to extreme, I think the Crossback was set to the more extreme soundtheme. So just like the coloring of the dashboard, you can change the sounds. And about the ashtray, you can slide the armrest to the back, and have more space for the ashtray or drinks. Than I have taken the right engine :-) I sold my Golf and I am very happy with this car. I really like the design. But for a french car the suspension had to be a little bit softer.

I must admit, this car has some of the most unusual design cues than any other Autogefuhl video review I've seen (and I have watched all of them). Citroen needs to keep things much simpler and focus the extra money toward other features.

Interesting this crossback version, because here in Brazil it is not available. I liked the review, but I was a bit disappointed with some interior details of the car. It's hard to comment without drive this car, but it did not convince me that is a premium car.

Hi Thomas ...30mins into the video and you drive past two green Peugeot 504s and 304 soft top and a Citroen DS......Where is this in Berlin. Good review, but I prefer to front of the old Citroen DS4 which looks more cohesive with the rest of the car.

Like the hatch more. The diffusor at the end looks bad, too slim, not wide enough Exterior is totally fine with the hatchback. But the interior is still was behind the time. Peugeots 308 looks way better

For me, it looks, that Citroen are trying to do something interesting, but what we are getting? I had BX, XM and C5, but new Citroen (or DS) its just a cars.. They lost "Citroen aura" then they decide to bin hydraulic suspension :(

I always thought that drivers in Germany are way more patient and kind than here in Poland. But today i changed my mind :D Anyway i like the style of a DS4 but i would never buy this car. It has too much disadvantages and strange features. Also i don't understand why they don't combine crossback version with 1.6 engine and why it's available only with 200 HP but not with 165 HP like in a Peugeot 508?

This is really an awful car. The Designer's have been given priority over the Ergonomists and that is a very bad approach. As we would say in the UK, this car is "all fur coat and no knickers"! [All for show, with nothing beneath]. The most basic VW Golf is way, way better than this mess. The DS also has a lot of cheap, old "technology" beneath the "fur coat" of design. The DS brand is trying to leverage the wonderful old Citroën DS 21's, but it really fails spectacularly. The old DS models had a fur coat and silk knickers! These new Ds models are all style over substance; they are all smoke and mirrors and in my book fail. But for those that like to look good (but please don't look too closely at the broken details), will love this "quirky" car.
