Nice size and very good looking. I love the way the g10 is inlayed in the steel scales

Looks like a good stout knife. I like that civivi is doing some frame locks. Great video 👍

The inset jade is a very nice touch!

I like the design. But, that’s my favorite style: neutral, clean & sleek. Damn! That Asticus is a long one. Great video👍🤘👍

This is a beautiful knife and the jade scales take it over the top. Don't have any experience with Nitro-V, but mayber 14C28N, or 9Cr18MoV would have brought the price down a bit...? Great video!

Wow, that blade profile, swedge, and thumb studs are almost an exact copy of the CJRB Scoria. The Scoria is one of my all time favorites so that makes me inclined to pick this up but weird it looks so similar.

It’s beautiful in these configuration . The praxis and riffle are two of my favorite civivis to fidget . I m not too excited about all the smaller knives they have out atm . Seems like they cut back on some design elements like no backspacer and are making them smaller but I prefer the larger ones . This size is just about right but where s the good ol 600 series type knives from WE ? There’s a few but none really get my juices flowing except the Ferrum forge ones. Might as well get an archbishop while I can instead right ?

I really like the look of that knife, but can't help thinking the Conspirator is a better choice. It costs $26 less, has a button lock, offers micarta, has extended spine jimping and weighs less. I have one and it's a great knife.

Raising prices on Civivi and lowering production cost via substituting steel for Ti. Just about done with WE/Sencut/Civivi. Thanks for the review Dave.

Yes and add the fact that WE also dispensed with zipper pouches for their high-end knives is a bit ridiculous and petty. As I recently showed my love is more for the old school models. I sort of got dragged into Civivi by the knife community since they're so popular elsewhere, but with so many new brands and models coming out each week I think my focus will be more in that direction going forward. Thanks for watching, as always! 👍🗡️👊

Yep, I forgot about the pouches! You’re absolutely right about the new brands. Glad I picked up two or three WE’s before “brand inflation” hit. Have all the TNT and Snecx designs. Never miss any of your vids and appreciate your review subjects and your low key style!

With Civivi's popping over $100, I've pretty much lost interest. I've purchased a number of nice Ti framelocks (Kubey & TwoSun) for less than this.
@OGBladeReviews2 жыл бұрын
True! Civivi is asking considerably more than Bestech, Kubey, Maxace, etc. They are still offering premium manufactured precision folders, but the other companies are closely matching that. Thanks for watching! 👍🗡️👊

Too much money for this, even though I think it’s a good knife. I’m very surprised they didn’t internally mill that out.
@OGBladeReviews2 жыл бұрын
Actually on second thought it's milled out on the surface for the scales which is why they didn't mill it out inside. And yes they are charging too much for a budget knife line. 🤔🗡️👊

Alot of these Chinese companies are going insane with their prices. Yet another example. Nobody will ever convince me a Chinese production knife with these materials is worth this much. No internal stop pin, no detent ramp, no backspacer, no weight relieving even ???? Swap out the blade steel for something more common but equivalent and you'll find this knife all over the internet for 30$ or less. What makes a Civivi worth so much more? A stiff detent?? I mean that's all they have.... ffs
@OGBladeReviews2 жыл бұрын
I'll have to agree on most of your points, however I did notice that the weight relieving on this one is through the steel removed for the handle scales which is why it wasn't on the inside. It's a very stiff and solid knife so I'm not sure it needs a backspacer or the backspacers in general are requirement since the barrel spacers take care of a lot of that. There is zero flex in this frame. Now we're seeing why WE Knife Company created Sencut! 😁🗡️👍
