getting this car but the regular 45 not the S and getting it as a shooting brake for more trunk space but in black because the matte color is super duper delicate, one scratch and they have to repaint the whole car to match the color lol. amazing car anyway enjoy.

The Engine needs time to be ran in. It could cause damage stressing the engine straight out the factory.

Hello, thank you for the video. I am on the fence about buying this as my next daily driver and I am concerned it might be a bit too uncomfortable for my likings. I too have a young little girl. So how has it been as a daily? Is the ride very firm or is it something kind of acceptable? Also I have heard about the horrible gas throttle delay in comfort mode to the point of being dangerous when trying to pull out from intersections, roundabouts etc. what’s your experience been like? My previous daily was a GLA45 and I kind of hated the delay but I liked how comfortable was the ride. Now I am renting a KIA Sportage and I LOVE how comfortable and responsive this thing is. Hey, Sorry It's taken me a while to reply things have been very hectic this week. It's such a tricky one because I find the car really comfortable and perfect to my taste but I think some would say It's quite a harsh ride, especially when compared to cars designed for pure comfort. If you liked the GLA45 I can safely say this new one will be better in every way. I'm not too familiar with the comfort mode delay but It definitely responds faster in sport+ and race mode as to be expected. This does have a much improved 8 speed gearbox over the older 7 speed. I personally have my car setup so I press one button (AMG dial press) and It instantly puts my car in my individual mode which is extremely responsive without any delay If I have driving across a busy roundabout etc. Actually I'd flip this around and say the car is so quick and responsive that It's dangerous because people won't expect you to shoot so fast and may pull out in front of you from the left. And hey you could always use launch control ;)

Hey Akbar Khan, I ordered mine directly through my dealer in person. I think you can access the online showroom and look at stock cars on the Mercedes main Uk website though too but I think there’s a wait for the 45s models at the moment. Best bet is to contact a Mercedes dealership.

Not sure you really need to run in a modern engine anymore. I was launching my old S3 from day one and it never missed a beat. That’s what warranty is for.

AMG take it quite seriously theres a proper sticker on the window with instructions and everything. I think since this engine is quite special its a good idea to take it easy even though its really hard to resist having a bit of fun.

I'm looking to get a dual 48 hour parking record with an external battery and cloud live view. Once its all hooked up il make some good videos on it too hopefully :)

@@ABAUTOAMG you are welcome 🤗 A good dashcam needs to be able to film the carplate that you are able to read the number under most situations like dark places, raining etc. I'm currently using Thinkware dashcam Q800pro. If you need to watch it through cloud live, then you need to get a pocket wifi or something to launch an internet connection.

Ah! I have a thinkware f800 pro in the C43 which was great. I'm interested in the t700 since it has a sim card and can do live view, seems like a great setup and interesting to review. Its only 1080p bit i think thats good enough for most situations + smaller file sizes. Not sure yet going to do a bit more research :)

Hey Paul, loving the car so far. I've filmed my first drive to work with it with some good impressions, hopefully get that video up this week too! Its very new and shiney right now so im going to wait till ive had it a bit to properly put it against the C43 but its amazing so far and looks like it may top the C43. Power wise it feels so much more snappy and sporty. Even in comfort mode it just feels like it really wants to go fast.
