Dude, that's the most adorable carburetor and battery I've ever seen. Love the Uni filter hanging off!

I don't think I've ever heard anyone describe a carb or battery as "adorable". I was looking more for tough, or badass, but I will accept it as a compliment either way.

Looks like you’re having way too much fun, I have a 79 express2 and I really love it, they’re a lot more fun in stock form. They’re not fast but fun.
@EvanWells07 Жыл бұрын
Not fast is right, but still a ton of fun to ride. The whole thing is a total flashback to my teenage years and is a ton of fun for sure!

@illkid86 is it one of the bicycle kits with an engine on it?
@miguelpagansr61289 ай бұрын
The thing with the lights is common on those bikes, the battery goes bad and people take them out and ride them like that. What happens is the electrical system runs on AC voltage as opposed to DC voltage.
@POCarton6 ай бұрын
Yes, same issues with ct90/110 and mb50s. Burnt out lights. I got tired of the factory battery not lasting, so I built 6 volt nicad packs for them. They work well to control the voltage to the lights and are less money.
@EvanWells076 ай бұрын
@POCarton I have seen that done and was looking into it before buying a battery. I figured I'd pick a battery up and when it goes bad, I'd play with something like that.

The other one I had as a kid (after the moped) was a Honda Cub. Still keeping an eye out for a good deal on one!

Lol hopefully you (and I) don't get hurt! If I do though, it will be trying to film stuff while riding one handed. Thanks for watching as always!

Thank you for posting! Trying to resolve a no spark issue on my '82 NC50 and thinking now it may be the cap/plug resistor combo issue. Not sure how to determine if either of them are resistor/non resistor. Could anyone out there explain how to determine the difference?
@EvanWells074 ай бұрын
It may be the next video in this series (or this one, I forget the order) but I specifically show how to check the wire and resistor. It should have 5k ohms resistance in the cap if it's resistor style, which is how it came factory. The simple way is if it has a long boot, it's usually a resistor style.

Did you have to make the jet hole bigger? I have the same carburetor and I tried it on my na50 but it didn’t work. I haven’t touched the jet yet.
@EvanWells075 ай бұрын
Yes I played around quite a bit with it to get it to run right at its top end. With all of that though I still couldn't break 25-26 mph. I have a few more videos on the moped where I try other carbs along with some other go fast parts.
