Agree, although I do not mind glitters, it is easier to make more different every day looks when the glitters are shimmers or metallics that can be used as a lid colour

Kristine Gustavsen well... to me shimmers and metallics are a different story than flat out glitters. I like the former 2 as well... It’s the presses glitters that I don’t like. I’m a nurse that used to work in the ER. I’ve seen patients that injured their eyes with glitters... I’ve never seen patients that did that with shimmer or metallic eyeshadows. (Having said that... I have treated people that have used non-cosmetic grade products and gotten injured or ill.) Ingredients that are not safe to be used in or around the eye should not be in eye makeup products! But in any case, I’m glad that Colourpop does inform their customers if such an ingredient or item is included in any of their products.

I’d be willing to bet that Colourpop was originally intending to put a pressed glitter in this palette and then switched it out after the packaging with printed. Maybe they finally noticed we’ve all been begging them to stop putting pressed glitters in every palette?

The pressed glitters are fine. Honestly people are freaking out too much about it. Tati’s glitters are technically not eye safe. No glitter is “eye safe” so they have to put that to ward off dumb lawsuits. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ sheeple are so annoying

But they are micro plastics and pretty terrible for the environment (yes, most makeup probably is. but glitter seems less integral to a full makeup routine). of course not everyone is obligated to care about that, but just wanted to point out that the safety issue is not everyone's primary concern. i personally avoid glitters for this reason. i feel like a shimmer is enough for me, and if anything i think the true "sheeple" are those who mindlessly consume/buy hyped up products they probably don't need, resulting in waste. *shrugs*

That SSS in Mint 4 U and the palette are the first low buy temptations in 42 days. I get one palette every 3 months. If I finish another SSS I can buy this one. We will see if the palette stays my first choice. I love greens and purples and golds.

I just ordered this one... not as a stand alone palette, but as a companion to Just My Luck and Blue Moon palettes. I was also considering the darker of the 2 Supershocks, but decided to pass, because I probably won’t use it enough to justify the purchase. Now I’m “wishing” that Colourpop comes out with another blue and another (lighter gray) palette, as companions to the Blue Moon and Smoke Show palettes.

They produce these palettes so fast, they are getting sloppy. A lot of people complained that Going Coconuts looked scratched up on the outer packaging. The names on my Going Coconuts are not centered, they just look slapped on. Wouldn't be surprised if its a misprint in this palette.

I don’t usually wear green eyeshadow outside of St. Patrick’s Day but my plan is to do a different green and neutral eyeshadow look each day in March. I’m also seeing Wicked that month so it’s appropriate. I have the Just My Luck palette and I bought the Double mint combo for this which has the palette and eyeliners. I also bought the two super shock shadows. Can’t wait to get it. 💚

I love those powdered sugar lemon drop cookies best. Followed by Thin Mints. This palette makes me think mint chocolate chip ice cream whenever I see it. I like Just My Luck. I think that they will pair well together. I'll pick it up in February when my No-buy ends. Thanks for the video.💚

I just ordered the Mint to be with the pastel set, along with Baby Got Peach, because I wanted a backup for Lilac you a lot because I dropped that pallet and one of the shadows broke when I was attempting to put everything back in. This way I don’t have to pay for shipping, and I do like all three. Lilac you a lot is my Favorite Colourpop pallet now. I like it better than It’s My Pleasure, even though those two pallets are great to use together. I am supposed to be on a NO buy, But here we go again. I also love green eyeshadow. It’s great for brown eyes. I just got a khaki green coat, although the olive green shades from Just my Luck would be a better match for that. We are ready for St. Patrick’s Day!!

I was waiting for this video but then got side tracked watching my Titans game lol! I love green but having greenish hazel eyes makes me leery towear it since everyone always says it’s not flattering? I agree there’s too many similar shades in the palette but I’m so glad there’s no glitter!! Wish they’d added more mid tones or maybe even a couple duochromes to make it more interesting. Feel like you could only create 1-2 looks and then everything would look about the same. Still cute for $12 but I think I’d just get the shimmery SSS color instead lol. I'm so glad to see more green! Having said that, I do think there is a lot of similarity (so lost opportunity) here. You can stay light green but have more variation in the color. They could have had a lighter more teal green, more yellow green, more taupe green, more blue green.... I know they called it "mint", but that does not mean that it needed to be 90% mint green. Oh, favorite Girl scout cookie is ThinMints, but straight out of the freezer! Yum!

I like the light, soft shimmery greens in this palette. So often with the olive shimmers, they have so much gold shimmer in them they end up looking more bronze than green. These are just pretty Spring greens that I think will work for those of us who are more fair or just like softer colors. I think it's a nice palette & would probably pick it up if I hadn't already bought similar shades in singles from Sydney Grace recently after looking everywhere for these types of greens( sage, mint, etc)

I might just have to pick up this new Mint palette. It makes your eyes just POP! I do have Just My Luck, and I'm almost feeling I might need Baby Got Peach and a purple palette to go along with... the supershock metallic shade is just dynamic as well. Great video! Oh, and edited: my fave GScookie is a toss-up between the old butter trefoils (reminds me of Lorna Doones) and thin mints... samoas are pretty tasty as well!

I don't really like shredded coconut texture, but Samoas are good enough that somehow they are still the best girl scout cookie despite this. We call them caramel delites in Wisconsin. I don't like thin mints 👀 I think I will skip this as just my luck has enough green for me and a bigger range.

I really like this palette but I don’t see myself using it so I’ll have to skip it. As a Girl Scout cookie mom I have an in depth knowledge if the cookies and shockingly have to say I love the Trefoils. Those I can enjoy any time but I need a certain mood for the rest. The people who love Samoas really love them hardcore while “Minters” are more easy going. I’ve never had anyone call a friend to confirm we had the right thin mint but have had that happen about Samoa’s. LOL

I really quite like this palette, especially since the Just My Luck has 3 or 4 shades that are just too warmtoned to be of any use to me at all. Also, you could get some nice looks pairing the Smokeshow palette with this one - greys & greens look so good together - specially if you're more coolertoned, they're very flattering.

That minty colour on your eyes suits you so well!I'm not sure about this palette... I love the mattes and the brighter/deeper shimmers but those two pale shimmers look identical and I don't use pale shimmers very often....
