New Combi Boiler Install |Navien 37kw combi boiler

So this week we had our boiler replaced with a Navien condensing combi boiler. This was done so we would not have any further noisy shower pumps or issues with them. We replaced our existing 15 year old conventional boiler with a Navien 37kw condensing combi boiler.
A quick note to say that Salamander shower pumps are terrible. We have four pumps in 4.5 years.

If you box in the boiler flue, make sure there is a removable cover because it has to be inspected when it is serviced.

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve found a plastic framed access hatch that our chippy will use when he boxes it in.

I think Stewart Turner pumps are far superior.

100%. I even had a plumber come and quote that install. We could have done that however we were a little traumatised by the constant pump issues, and the horrific noise, that we just invest in the home and get the combi.

@@bushyTurtle yes…pipework is all over, snot all over pipes…flue looks like it’s not sealed properly internally, flue collar is cut….could go on and on You have paid hard earned money for a bad install. It’s not your fault it’s people who don’t have pride in their work

​@@paulstevens5329 ain't that bad, seen alot worse, most people paint the pipes or box them in, non gas engineers don't notice snot or pipe crossed, they just want heating and hot water.

Might be worth checking he upized the gas tho, 37kw combi requires bigger gas pipe than a heat only.
