Re you mowing grass at the start , It’s a lot faster than a mid mounted Featherstone mower on a mid fifties ferguson TEA 20, 😀. I even recall my dad using a Bamlett trailer mower behind a Standard Fordson, but every thing is relative I suppose. I just love how everything is so much more labour saving now .

I think they put lifters on for a reason , they do help lift those low ears of barley , I kept them on all the time , for barley , wheat , linseed an o.s.r with almost no stones etc go on give them a go !!!

Conditioned grass could be ready tomorrow or Thursday. I have cut and baled hay in 48 hours this year with conditioner. Looks like a brand new mower as well. I hope you can get over COVID soon with not too many problems.

Can I suggest you try Neurofen cold and flu tablets . I used them when I had Covid and they take away all the stuffy nose , coughing and aches and pains for 8 hours which means you will also get a good night’s sleep . I thought I had food poisoning at first then got told to take a test after the drummer in our band had it after we had done a rehearsal day . I started on the tablets and felt so much better . I can’t recommend them enough to everyone . Hope you get a negative test through soon . ❤
