This is quickly becoming my favorite comicbook channel on youtube. You're a machine, dude. I still haven't read most of my books from this week except White Boat and Blood Squad Seven. WB has my attention and BSS lost it. I enjoyed the Dutch miniseries a lot, but this new "Youngblood" homage did too good a job in replicating that 90's x-treme style plotline , because I found it forgettable. I was gonna review this issue on my channel but didn't because I'm trying to avoid posting negativity. Which brings me back to Comic Culture. Amazing work, every week, focusing on the incredible comics that are coming out with a critical eye that is without malice. Very helpful to the people who actually want to read comics, unlike the posers who just want to bitch.

Well this is my favorite comment ever. I appreciate it man. Yeah I'm not into the cheap quick views or shock style content. All I want to do is read good comics and talk about them. That's it. Glad you resonate with my stuff!

It amazes me you read that many books in a few days! I read about 10-12 from Wednesday to Tuesday so I can connect with the story, Amar the art and even have time to reread it. Do you take notes or is it easy for you to consume so many storylines and plot points?

Conan has been so good but this is my favorite issue so far, the reveal at the end was pretty awesome.

The first 2 issues of Rook are by far the best books of the year, imho. Conan and The Sacrificers ain’t far behind. Indies are hot as hell right now.

Totally agree. Beneath the trees too! I've always gravitated towards Indies just because they were easy to get into and you didn't need 60 years of backstory to fully understand them.

Idk man, i thought Ghost-Spider was a fun issue. From why she has to be on the downlow and the more she gets noticed the real 616 Gwen Stacy memories start the fade through this Gwen. Also her being somewhat arrogant when it comes to being a superhero in this universe and how she really under estimates the villain in this issue.

I get it. There were some cool things happening with all that, but when I open the comic and see her at the bank and without reading further I say, yeah this bank is about to get robbed.... Or when she's yelled at by the TVA I'm thinking ... Uh huh she'll be right back at it again in a page or two... It's stuff like that. Her arch is fine, it's the way it's being told.
