To address some concerns that have been brought up. We were very clear this is a Showcase (0:45, no "review" in title, no thermals, none of our usual in-depth testing, etc.), and not a review of the case since it is Sponsored. Less than 3 minutes of an ~11 minute was dedicated to a few features we saw within the LUCA upon unboxing. If anyone thinks that's a review, well...ok. TRYX communicated two dates with us: one which was for a hands-on similar to what was shown at Computex in order to align with AIO availability and the other which was a full reviews embargo for the LUCA to align with its availability on Sept 19th. I'm pretty sure others were given the same but perhaps not since comms with TRYX has been...interesting to say the least. As a matter of fact, since this videowas published the September 19th date has been clearly visible within the Buy it Now links. EDIT: Initially we didn't understand where certain comments were coming from but now we do. It seems samples that GN received did not align with our initial experience with the LUCA. Completely missed their video until someone pointed it out. To add some additional clarity, had any significant or numerous issues been encountered during our unboxing or subsequent time with the items, internal policy dictates that we refuse to run ads or continue with the sponsorship. Our case had some minor shipping damage but otherwise we didn't encounter any egregious issues with it. Meanwhile the AIO was perfectly fine other than the commentary we had with the software.

This is why tech channels who highly value their reputation and ethics would never agree to do a long sponsorship / overview of a product from a brand new company in the market, without at bare minimum doing their own in-depth testing and internal review before agreeing to that sponsorship, and if the product's manufacturer isn't allowing that reject the sponsorship. This is why people are losing respect for Hardware Canucks because it's clear you don't put the same level of care into your decisions and choices as others do, if you did this video never would have happened.

These reviews of AIOs with screens need to also include how heavily they use the CPU to render the image on the AIO itself. Since they aren't using an HDMI/eDP for display out, these AIOs tend to render the video on the CPU. i.e. the NZXT Kraken Zs can use 10%-15% of a 5800X just to render a 2D video on the screen. You literally end up with worse performance from using a certain CPU cooler.

@HardwareCanucks2 ай бұрын
This feels like a situation where our experience is very different from theirs. Simple as that. We would NEVER take a sponsorship for a product we thought was trash. Ever. I think its also important to mention that if our first hands on with the case had so many issues, the entire sponsored video would have been thrown out. A situation like that has happened numerous times (a case from MSI was the latest example of this) and we've pumped the brakes. Every. Time. Our experience thus far (full review is still ongoing) is closer to Stuart's than GN's: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iqeWlpSAf8uMjNk

Clarifications for you: A) The retail samples we received didn't have such egregious issues. One had some minor damage from shipping but that was it. Our policy dictates we DO NOT run ad spots or sponsored content for items that don't fit our quality criteria. Had we run into any of the larger issues GN found, the Sponsored content would have been cancelled. B) We were careful to have full transparency and mention the video was a showcase and didn't frame it as a review. A review would have had full thermal testing, etc. C) We did a quick overview of some case items we missed at Computex tacked onto a video largely covering the AIO, an item we thought was pretty unique. D) If we had reviewed it, the stated embargo date of September 19 would have been adhered to but due to staff vacations, the review was delayed until later this month Hope that helps!

boring - PSU in the bottom...BORING!??...The psu in top is the new black? my i486 had the PSU on the top...Its circular...But atleast throw the PSU in the front. The screens, TG and RGB is the result of youtube...and ironicly the content I'm currently watching...Its fluf, and beyond stupid but occassionally there are decent products and builds - but mostly its hiding a price hike and most gobble it up.

The oled is a stupid idea.. Fish tank is fundamentally non-optimal airflow. So no thank you. Although i hate everything about this case, too much gamery angles, the entire design is busy. It's the opposite of elegant and classy. Just ordered h7 2024, now that's a good looking case, will never get out of style.
