Beautiful, little home. 2 baths in a 720 square ft home...excellent! I would love to see an option with a soaker tub/shower combo. I really like that you show alternates in the software. The kitchen alternative with a little more counter space, with the upper cabinet, and the double pantry beside the fridge is perfection!

I 100% agree with your decision to put a window. I think people need to bring back putting TV's on stands. TV's should NOT be mounted up on a wall where you have to constantly tilt your head up to watch. This is a modern concept that is all about aesthetics and not ergonomic. It really over complicates things too. Now you have to mount the TV, do cable management, etc.

That little house is so cute! I’m waiting for next week when you talk about hooking up the sewer. So far we’ve spent a lot more than I thought it would cost 😳😳. The grinder alone took a huge chunk out of the budget.

If I did the layout I would have put the washroom directly behind the kitchen! Less plumbing! And put the bedrooms right in the back with master BR with access to bathroom with pocket door would have created more space in both rooms.

I have a question. You often two bathrooms in your builds. But with such limited square footage wouldnt it be a lot more efficient to have only one? Especially considering that not a lot of people can live there (1 to 3 at most) and therefore wouldnt have a need for it. Any thoughts?
@MigraineCraftsman4 жыл бұрын
I thought about that but decided to shoehorn another bathroom in the design. What I have learned about people dont like others to use their main/personal bathroom. That s why I always TRY to put in 2.

Public library, construction section is a good start. Going to your local building department to pick up permit application (free) is a good start. Then a lot of homework, research, practice working with tools and wood to see if you like it. This is always a tough question but to put it simple, you have to start something, research how to get licensed in your state and work to get that. Maybe even get a job with a framing contractor and learn while you get paid.
