Cooking in the bush is awesome and all.... I think the cleanup afterwards is the tricky part. I think we could use a video of doing dishes and cleanup in the bush.

When you finish cooking and your big pot is empty of food, grab some of natures handwipes (grass/stick) and give it a quick clean inside then add a bit of water with some dish soap. I use a little bottle I carry and a dish sponge to clean all the gear in one hit. You do not need alot of water, just a decent rag to wipe your stuff with after. Addition. I would prefer all who go camping to take their own cook gear, the big pot is nice if all eats the same, but having gone camping with family they prefer their own meal beit steak/burgers/soup/noodles, etc. The canteen coookset is what we roll with. All happy! :-)

That's easy just boil some water.

If you want to keep the outside clean of soot fouling just rub soap all over the outside before using. Will clean up completely with no effort. Boy Scout trick.
@perttu5274 жыл бұрын
If you cook on a fire or with a fire stove you can take some ash and mix it with water. It works as soap. Then just crub it with moss or a steel pan scrub

I've followed survivlaist/prepper channels, including yours, for at least the last 10 years. I know your channel is more weighted to bushcraft than others, but there is some overlap. I've learned a lot from all those channels, and am grateful for what I've learned. But, in the current environment, many have tried to pass themselves off as instant experts on coronavirus, even though we are all learning about that together, and there is still much to learn. Thank you for not joining the chorus of instant pandemic experts. If anything, I respect you and your channel even more than ever, just for that fact alone.

If this was a PKS knife then we are not taking any pre orders at this point due to the COVID 19 shut down, however if your knife was ordered the 29th it has still not even been the 6-12 weeks advertised as lead time on the site, and there has since been a post added to let folks know we were/are shut down the last 2 weeks putting us further out, which is why we are NOT taking pre orders now and showing SOLD OUT-
