Awesome to see Corncraft Knives from Germany on your channel! This is only his 2nd production knife he released. His first project was a titanium framelock made by Kizer (the Multiverse is indeed made by Reate). Here in Germany we can’t carry locking one-hand knives, that’s what makes this knife so special for us! Very glad you like these!

Lord how I did fall in this pit in which I must have every innovation. That click click with the shutting speed… Of a gazelle. It’s like a half slip. You presentation accentuates it. Which a capacity that gonna make you a million smackers plus. Cheers J.

The price on these is outrageous.

Yes and no… compared to your average ti folder: yes. Compared to a small batch midtech: no. This sits somewhere in between. Single designer/developer, development of a unique product, especially the spring setup, production by reate, qc of every single knife by the designer in Germany,… I think the price is not unjustifiable.
@corncraftknives939113 күн бұрын
@bawhite125 Unfortunately, my shop still displayed the price including German tax for customers from abroad. This has now been fixed and the price is significantly cheaper for US customers, for example.

@@corncraftknives9391 understood. It’s a beautiful knife, and I understand there are added costs and expenses associated with foreign manufacturing and hand fitting/machining. I was just taken aback because it’s a slip joint that doesn’t look like a slip joint, so I was expecting something in the $250-350 range. Didn’t appreciate all that went into it.

Love the blade shape and the size. It looks very functional while also being stylish IMO. I just get nervous with that much blade and no locking function but it's got my interests. Very cool.

Full back spacer! I was just constructively criticizing that more companies need to start doing this on your colleague's channel earlier today. Gives some of the satisfaction of an integral without the exponential cost.
@CristoffelBonorand13 күн бұрын
While I totally agree with you, smartass me still feels the urge to tell you that this is a slipjoint and the closed back is actually the spring holding the blade open (and closed) 😉

@CristoffelBonorand true. I guess I'm not used to seeing slip joint flippers like these. Thanks for pointing that out.

Beautiful design, they did a great job. But I do wish it was using thumb studs instead and was a locking knife, like a back lock would be cool.

I normally don't waste my time , watching reviews of slip joints or fixed blades . I'm not interested. These , however , are pretty interesting. I really like the blade shape, and the cosmetics of the cf inlaid version. If they made a locking version, I'd be into it . Thanks for always keeping it interesting .

@@lonetrader1 It is forbidden to carry cold weapons in public places, religious gatherings, catering establishments, educational institutions and other public places. "cold weapons" means daggers,, swords, sabers, bayonets and grasshoppers whose blade is pressed by a compressed spring and jumps out of the handle by pressing a button or lever or metal throwing stars, regardless of blade length, boxers, maces and other concealed bladed weapons, as well as other articles suitable for inflicting injury when worn in public places; This is copy paste from the law in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
